Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ontario

This hotel appeared clean and newer from the outside. The front desk was not overly friendly upon check-in… no big deal. Walk to the room. Good lord - contact high. Stinky, pot smelling hallway. Then there was the bed. Got a king for my husband and I - I see a I almost got bucked out of bed every time her rolled over … or even moved. I like soft beds, but this was terrible. So soft it was hard to get out of! Won’t stay here again. I’d rather take my chances with the asleep Inn - or even the Roadway Inn!

Rodeway Inn & Suites

The room was perfect for a 2-person/two-nights stay aside from the bits of animal fur & possible female hair scattered across areas of the bed and throughout the room. There is a no pet policy though the hotel provides a pet area out front & that left me perplexed. The furniture inside the room seemed a bit larger than the space it occupied however everything functioned well. The shower in the bathroom was smaller than expected for a typical hotel & would cause an issue for anyone larger than 250lbs I predict; I’m under 6ft/180lbs & it was a bit uncomfortable. Check-in was a bit tricky as the process is completed inside the “Quality Inn” lobby; located right across from Rodeway Inn. Your room key allows you access into the Quality Inn side doors for vending machine and ice machine use. The wi-if/internet is horrible & wouldn’t stay connected to my single device for more than 1 minute. The parking lot for Rodeway Inn is well lit. I was told housekeeping comes daily however, I never encountered them throughout the length of my stay. Very affordable for what its worth and would definitely recommend for anyone passing through & needing to rest along their trip.
