Business Hotels in Omachi

Great place and the standards you'd expect of Holiday Inn, but you really need to drive to make it more convenient. There's only one bus to and fro which costs 1,230 Yen from Shinano-Omachi station. There is also nothing in the near area nor any Uber services. Still, the restaurant is pretty decent and there's a pool + Onsen with a simple vending machine as well as a shop selling apparels or food items. Christmas vibes were all-in when we went around mid November. Overall, a great hotel and if the location doesn't bother you because you drive, you'll likely have a good time.

If you drive yourself, it is highly recommended. If you take public transportation, it is a little inconvenient. Because the hotel does not have a shuttle bus now. The activities are eating buns in the afternoon and drinking sake in the evening. It will be a bit awkward if you don't speak Japanese.

Nice place for one night stay before going the alpen route, close to the nearest convenient store from the station(i.e. the closest one is 10min away from station XD) the staff is very nice, has warm water in toilet and washing area.
