Stayed alone for the Rugby World Cup. The hotel in Oita city is full from early on and the price is only twice as much as usual. But only here felt the spirit at the usual price. Good location, close to Oita station and downtown. The front desk staff was also good. The room was quite smelly, even though it was a smoking room. Also, if you were studying more in detail about access to the World Cup stadium, it would have been even better.

The location is good, not far from JR station. There are many delicious food in Oita station. There is also Chuo-machi shopping street nearby, and eating is close. The room is very clean, the toiletries are from DHC, and the view from the balcony is pretty good.

Check-in is possible from 14:00, and guests can also use the 19F ”Tenku no Yu” from 14:00. Go to 19F in your room clothes, receive a towel set at the reception, and go to the men's bath changing place. 19F has an indoor bath and two types of saunas (Finland sauna and mist sauna), and there were more than 10 washrooms. 19F Indoor bath is a natural hot spring that is pumped from 700m underground. After soaking in the inner bath of 19F, go up the stairs to 20F (rooftop). There are two types of bathtubs here. It is a little hot water and a little lukewarm carbonated spring. Also, the view of soaking in the bathtub is the best! It's nice in the daytime, but the view illuminated by neon at night is also nice. Guests can use it from 6am the next morning. This morning bath was the most comfortable. Breakfast was served at the 8F restaurant from 7 am. I arrived around 6:55 with a breakfast ticket, but 7 ～ 8 people were already lined up. Instead of choosing your favorite seat, the person in charge will guide you. At that seat, the person in charge asks whether the main dish is Japanese or Western. On this day (12/16), Japanese food was grilled ＋ small bowl, Western food was hamburger ＋ small bowl. Except for the main dish, it is a buffet style, and it is a style that you take this and that yourself. It was a pity that I couldn't have breakfast slowly because the bus to the airport was early. The building looks old but the interior was clean and comfortable. There is also a large communal bath. Breakfast and local gourmet food were all delicious. I felt that the wall was a little thin.

Had an overnight stay here for the rugby after a day travelling down from Hokkaido. The trip went incredibly smoothly, then the welcome, the fans zone, the organisation and the fans transport out to the stadium were amazing. Well done Oita. The hotel was a little overwhelmed by the number of people booking in before the match, but staff were friendly and helpful; the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped; and the hotel was easily found from the station via an interesting arcade - no more than a 5-10 minute walk. Would certainly stay here again if in Oita.

My wife booked this hotel for us for our weekend in Beppu. We selected this hotel based on the price, parking, and location. It is within walking distance to the train station and down town area. They have parking here which is a plus. The staff was very friendly, the individual helping us spoke great English which made check in/out easy. They have breakfast here, because of COVID, it was not buffet style, but the trays were nice and the food was great. The rooms were perfect, they were modern, spacious, and had everything we needed, plus the bed was comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay here.
