Aspinquid Resort

I would be embarrassed to recommend Aspinquid to a friend or family member solely based on the run down state of the accommodations. We stayed in unit 118. There was missing trim boards, a hole in the floor, hole in the drywall, paint on the bathroom countertop and the shower door can not be opened fully while standing in the bathroom. The location was great, beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly but, sadly, our room needed a major facelift.

We love it here…year after year. This was our 3rd year at the aspinquid. You cannot beat this location. It’s walking distance to the best beach on earth, the shops and restaurants. We barely move our car during our stays. The room has everything we need from a kitchen fully stocked with all the supplies you need to make the kids a quick meal, to the water sports equipment (complimentary) to play in the water pond or ocean (kayaks, tubes, paddle boards it’s all there). To the most welcoming and responsive staff (shoutout to Jamal & Jonathan) who stay steady and consistent year after year. My kids love using the pool after a long day at the beach, my husband enjoys the patio. For me it’s the ice cold air conditioners and the updated bathrooms. Every year they make updates to the hotel. Slowly but surely we’ve seen the investment. We highly recommend!!!

I've been coming to Aspinquid Resort with my family for years and will continue to do so! We simply love it! The new beds in the summer building are so comfy, the grounds are well kept, and everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and kind. Oh, and I almost forgot—the pool is heated and perfect for kids! Pickleball is a huge plus for some sport activity! I highly recommend this resort. Thank you, Aspinquid!

We have been coming to Ogunquit for the past 5 years, 4 of which we stayed at the Norsemen and Aspinquid. For the few years we noticed that they have been upgrading the place. This year, their reception areas looks very modern and inviting. My boys love the place as it is very convenient to walk to the beach or village where stores and restaurants abound. They also have a pickle ball area which my boys love. We are making this a tradition to come every year and make memories there.

Amazing spot right on the Ogunquit River and a quick stroll to the beach! Our room had a beautiful view of the river off the porch and from the bedroom window, a handy kitchenette, and a newly renovated bathroom. Comfortable and convenient. Plenty of room for the whole family. Only drawback was that we had brought our racquets but the tennis court had been made into pickleball courts, so we couldn’t really make use of it. No tennis net!

I love this place!! Firstly I was a bit skeptical about booking here after seeing some of the reviews, but wanted to give them a chance due to the new updates they said they were doing. It was quite opposite of the reviews written online. The newly updated bathrooms were amazing and the room was well cleaned! The staff was warm and welcoming and I believe his name was Jamal, he was very professional and friendly. The pool is very nice and heated. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Needs MAJOR updating and cleaning! Bed was rock hard, pillows hard and flat. Ant trap laying upside down on the floor by the balcony door. Lamp was just shoved behind the TV and served zero purpose. Pool was ok but quite rusty. Ice machine was disgusting. Kitchen utensils were not used by us at all because they were dirty upon arrival. Even the survey they leave in the room for you to fill out was dirty. All these photos show the proof. Absolute worst part was you could smell the mold in the AC. I complained about it and someone came to "clean it". For a few hours after it did smell better but by the time we went to bed it was back to smelling bad. Awful for someone with asthma/allergies. Pretty sure they just sprayed some air freshener in the AC unit. Inside of door said max rate was $350, meanwhile we paid anywhere from $359.99-379.99 per night. When I questioned that I was told the door sign was last year's prices. Very close to beach and the balcony view shows that but you could not pay me to come back to this place. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Very comfortable room with good amenities. Kitchenette with plates, glasses, utensils, cooktop, coffee maker and refrigerator but no microwave. Great location with parking close to the beach and town. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Very nice updated shower with plenty of bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Only complaint was there was only one bar of soap in the bathroom. We will be back.

The location can’t be beat. Our room (summer penthouse) was comfortable, clean, and had a great view. The bathroom needed some updating but it was not a big deal. The staff were so friendly and accommodating (thanks Jamal!). Worth every penny!!
