My favourite hotel to visit. I have returned many times and will continue to do so. The ambiance is true to the authentic castle that it is. The staff are so helpful, friendly and informative. Food is also delicious. 10/10

Will 100 percent be returning for another stay. From the moment we opened the front door in Kinnitty Castle,we knew we were stepping into history. From the blood red carpet and the beautiful decor,it's absolutely kept to its historical heritage in a brilliant way. We stayed in the Cormac Room in the attic floor and the room was both Gothic and modern at the same time, A gorgeous 4 poster bed overlooking the window view of the front lawn it was a piece of heaven. We ate in both the Dungeon bar and their main restaurant" Sli Dala" and both were amazing. We both ate the beef dish and it was epicly tasty.Down in the dungeon I went through a fair few chicken wings as their hot sauce is unbelievable, I would return and stay again just for the wings alone so keep up the great cooking upstairs and down. The breakfast was delicious and plenty to eat for all tastes. There wouldn't be enough great words I could say about the staff, each and everyone of the staff were phenomenal and went out of their way to make our stay a magical experience, quiet a few of the staff are young and they bring in a great vibe to an old castle with a tonne of smiles and friendly attitudes. We would particularly like to mention one staff member who went above and beyond to make our stay great and that was " Seana".She was one of the friendliest, graceful, helpful and courteous hotel staff members we have ever come across in any hotel worldwide. Her knowledge of the hotel is incredible and her customer service is impeccable with a smile. She is a credit to Kinnitty Castle. We would also like to thank Martin the night porter for all his laughs and stories, he's a positive character and a great man to have watch over the hotel at night. The ambience in the great hall of the O ' Carrolls is fantastic as we had a tour around during the day and you can feel the history in the air. We will definitely be back in the near future,5 star all the way. Thank you all. Steve

Classic funky 13th century Irish castle, with Abbey wing. Staff is kind and accommodating. Each room is different than the next, and there are different styles, so make sure to research before selecting. Breakfast is hearty. Grounds are serene -- ask about the walk over the bridge and through the woods. And don't miss the live music in the dungeon bar! This castle is in a rural area. Perfect for our stay, as we wanted a relaxing get away, but just to know before you go.

Hotel itself is very nice, old and maybe in need of some upgrades however the old medieval style is really cool.... Our room was nice and staff couldn't have been more pleasant. We had a dinner overnight stay deal. We arrived down and as our room wasn't ready we went to the Library bar and had a drink and some lunch. Lunch menu was the usual, chicken wings, burgers etc, all the food was lovely. That evening we went to have our dinner and it was not in the resturant it was back in the library bar, with the same menu as lunch. Then after dinner we had hoped to go to the dungeon bar but that was also closed so our whole stay consisted of sitting in the library bar for lunch dinner and drinks. I think this stay could have been greatly improved if we had dinner in the restaurant with a variation on the lunch menu and the option to go to either bar.

My mother and I stayed here with a tour by PSII to investigate the spooky happenings in the hotel. Food was amazing, staff were lovely and the rooms were beautiful. However we did wake up to the chair moving across the room at one point, and then at 5am I was awoken to my mom screaming over a woman standing at the end of our bed, did a bit of research and we found a lady called Augusta who lived in the hotel at some point in time and was known to roam the place. Other than the surprise guest in our room who decided to rearrange the furniture and loom over the bed and scared us to within an inch of our lives 10/10

Just spent a night at the hotel with my sister and 2 babies. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are really big. We stayed in a twin room and had a double bed each which was super comfy. Staff are friendly but restaurant is probably a little understaffed. We had a lovely meal in the Dungeon Bar. Breakfast was a little disappointing - small portions and food wasn’t replenished. Hotel has a lot of stairs which isn’t ideal with heavy buggies. However after struggling a few times we found out that there’s a door on the ground floor so you can navigate that level without the stairs. They gave us two travel cots for the little ones. The hotel is set on lovely grounds for a walk. The hotel and rooms were really warm.
