Well, this is one of my lowest-rated hotels. I wouldn't say it's absolutely terrible, but I feel like it could be better. A thumbs up for the man who grabbed our suitcases at the speed of sound, without even having time to get out of the taxi and put them down. A thumbs up for finding the air conditioner bullets, because it was 30 degrees these days and I'd like to sleep in the cool air before bed.
- Let's start with the location. It's located sooooo high up on a mountain. If you're going to walk, the roads are incredibly inconvenient. It's impossible to even cross the road properly at the turnoff to the hotel. Either take a taxi or risk getting down :D But, the bus station is about 10 minutes (10€), the airport is 15-20 minutes (20€), so it's basically livable. The old part of town is a 40-minute walk or 40 minutes by tram or bus, and the fare is 1.8 local marks.
- The room was incredibly small, smaller than the one I stayed in Tokyo. The bedside chandeliers, which are at head level, were installed by some scammer; you constantly notice them with your head. They could have easily moved them to the sides, so why did they do that? There's so little space, few shelves, and it's completely leaky. The space is incredibly tight, two suitcases and that's it, you have to step over them to go to the bathroom.
- Breakfast. Well, it's weak, very basic, there's so little of everything that you worry if you take an extra piece of something, there won't be enough for everyone else. It's not that it's completely shabby, but you expect something more. Not that I'm picky, but the breakfasts are nothing special...
- The people are friendly, willing to help and fix anything they can, I guess that's why I gave them the extra point. Maybe I just got a really small room, I don't know, but again, I'd rather not stay with them. Anyway, thanks for the welcome, and yes, I'd also like to leave the number of the wonderful driver who's willing to take you anywhere, well, within reason and not at overpriced **** ** *** ***. He's a very polite, punctual, and sociable young man who won't cheat you and will take you where you need to go for the agreed price.
And in general, as a Russian, I enjoyed being in Bosnia. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. You can come to us and see super gloomy and despondent faces everywhere :DD, but here you get a boost of positivity.
