Hotel location is very convenient, being within 10min walking distance of Nottingham station. The room was spacious and clean. The staff had missed out on the hairdryer but delivered it up promptly once we had informed them. Note that the keycards don't work very well. We left a keycard in the room and brought the other card out but found that the room couldn't be opened... This seems to be common as there was another lady at the concierge facing the same problem. The room cleaning was... Interesting, if you could call cleaning in a way which makes you question if anything had been cleaned cleaning. Sadly the hotel did not provide room slippers. There was free orange juice and water at the lobby though.

Hotel is very conveniently located for city centre, right next to Lace Market tram stop. A ten minute walk from railway station. Five minutes walk to Old Market Square. On the edge of Hockley with loads of restaurants and bars within a two minute walk. Car parking available in Lace Market Car Park opposite. Discounted price was £10 for 16h00 until 10h30 the next morning. Good value, particularly given its location.

I stayed here in the ‘bobbin’ suite for a 2 night short break and I will definitely be returning! The room was excellently presented and Jeff the manager was on hand to take calls when needed. The Bobbin is situated at the top of the stairs meaning other guests have to walk past your door to leave from the main entrance which is directly infront of the door to the room. The other guests were coming and going well into the early hours (3-4am) and weren’t quiet which would be my only criticism but that is down to the courtesy of other guests and can’t be helped! I will 100% stay here again but I would perhaps choose a different suite… Thank you again and see u soon!

Recently stayed here for the 1st time due to having a night away and it being close to amenities and next to the train station. We checked in and the staff were lovely and polite. Our room was lovely and clean with an en-suit and a good selection of drinks the pillow was a little hard but I'm not complaining as I still had a good nites sleep. We came down for breakfast and choose to pay additional cost for a full english which was cooked perfectly the staff were lovely attentive and polite. It does have a few stairs to climb to certain rooms so this could be a disadvantage to some but it didn't bother us we will definitely stay here again in the future.

It’s very convenient to live in Mercury Hotel to plan a tour in Nottingham. Regarding the excellent location, I can only take 1-minute walk to the tram station named Lace Market, it takes you to Beeston or remote retail outlets within couple of minutes. Also, I takes leisure walks within few minutes to city centre for shopping at M&S, Primark, Victor Centre, etc. Besides, you may never forget supports/advice from the enthusiastic and knowledgeable hotel teams.

It should be the original athlete village remodeling, the decoration is old, and the room is poorly soundproofed. The location is biased, but the scenery is good. Breakfast is served in general and things cannot be stored.
