Ama-lurra Resort Gili Air

Great facilities with private pool and located in front of the beach. Had some issues with AC not cooling enough, other than that it was a great stay.

We stayed in this resort for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. It is a modern resort with a great location next to the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and each room has their own garden with private pool. We had some problems with the electricity, and got offered another room. In both rooms the AC was not the best, even when putting it on 16 degrees it was not super cool in the room, but it was sufficient. The breakfast was good. Overall a nice resort to stay at in Gili Air!

Ama Lurra is an incredible hotel located at Gili Air. Its villas are super modern and comfy and allow you to have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Besides this, it is located in the front row of the beach which is just perfect. Breakfast is very good, specifically the smoothie bowls and the natural juices. Staff was kind and helpful. I couldn’t recommend more Ama Lurra!

What an amazing place! Every detail, since the beginning let us totally amazed! The location by the beach is stunning! The views, the amenities, the food, the hotel and the staff were brilliant. I would have loved to extend my stay here and I plan to return! Best place to stay in Gili Air!

Beach dinner in a lovely setting, facing west / northwest. Friendly head waiter but disinterested or poorly trained staff. Waited 20 + minutes for lime juice and a large beer - latter arrived without a glass. I'm too old to swig out of a 750ml bottle, so had to go and get a glass. Ordered 2 x grilled fish and veg. Wife's food arrived but mine didn't - i was only served as my missus finished her supper. Asked to speak to manager - a French gentleman who had been taking photos of young Russian couples on a lounger behind us. Explained above issues and he went to investigate. To his credit, he returned to tell us staff had mixed up 2 sets of similar orders. He offered us complimentary carrot cake ; we declined. Unfortunately only the resident cat enjoyed the fish - tasted old or defrosted, and below usual restaurant standards. Really can't recommend eating here.

We had a great time...it s so quiet, very relaxing n romantic here...the pool in the villa s great...like the modern n etnic villa design...great staff..breakfast s amazing right on the beach...service s very friendly.. highly recommend...

the resort is great, the room is very nice, the sunset is beatiful,the staff is well trained,the breakfast is one of the best i ever had ,we will come back because we had wonderful romantic time with my wife

Love the villa design. Feel so relax and quiet the villa with pool. Service s good, staff friendly. The best part is their beach with sunset and breakfast on the beach.We ll return very soon, best experience in Gili.
