Hotell Furusund

We chose Hotell Furusund for our wedding celebration last September. Malin and the team created the dream weekend for us and our 50 guests (most of them had traveled from the UK to be there). We hired all of the rooms in the hotel for the weekend, and we also used the main restaurant for a pre-wedding dinner, the grounds for reception canapés/drinks, the Orangery for the wedding dinner, and we used the hot tub / sauna on the jetty. All of the staff were super welcoming and flexible, and Malin went out of her way to help us organise all of the parts of the celebration, as well as recommending outside suppliers where needed (wedding cake and DJ). The team created such a lovely and fun atmosphere for us, it was exactly what we had imagined. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable, the area and views from the hotel are beautiful, and the food was seasonal and totally delicious. We completely trusted their recommendations for the food and we were not disappointed. We had so many guests say that it was the best and most memorable food they had had at a wedding! We also know that a couple of our guests have already booked to return to Hotell Furusund this Summer. Thank you for making our wedding weekend so perfect and unique - we can't wait to return in the near future.

I thought the hotel, island, food, and staff were absolutely perfect! I had a lovely time there by myself and would highly recommend Hotell Furusund (and have already to anyone that has asked about my Easter:). There was incredible attention to detail, the room was clean, the food was delicious and the staff were very kind and helpful. I look forward to coming back again soon!

As always, one of my favourites in the early summer. Welcomming personel good food and service, the near water location gives you a nice near view of the cruiseships entering or leaving Stockholm. If you haven’t stayed here for a night or two you have something new to plan for.

Nice double room, comfortable bed, great view of the water. Good coffee available in the room. Option to use the outdoor jacuzzi right by the water; we used it in winter and it was a great experience (remember to bring a warm hat :) ). There is a sauna on the water just by the jacuzzi. Restaurant in the hotel is superb. Tasting menu was excellent! Good value for money. Would go back again!

Very cozy hotel in a perfect location in the Stockholm Archipelago. Really friendly staff, excellent food, lovely area to take a swim (or sauna/jacuzzi). Really appreciated that we could have our dog with us. We will definitely be back there!

Very relaxing stay. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were a hit. Very family friendly as well

We spent New Year at Furusunds Värdshus. What a wonderful stay. We were warmly welcomed, including our dogs. The food was delicious, the atmosphere as cozy as a ski lodge with log fires and beautiful lighting and decorations. A hot tub under the stars. We will be back next year!

This hotel is absolutely lovely. Stylish Swedish decoration that is comfortable and spotlessly clean. Food amazing, friendly staff and location hard to beat. I took many hours trying to find a hotel to stay and was anxious as photos can be deceiving but this hotel exceeded all my hopes! We will return!

We arrive at Friday and stay until Sunday morning. We had our 5 years old daughter with us. Hotel is nice but there are couple of interesting things. They put an infant bed to the room and an extra person bed and we got charge for it. They can actually mention about the infant bed. We paid 1800Sek for each night with extras it was around 4K. There is no restaurant around rather than hotels and they have a fix menu which is around 700Sek per person and with wine menu it is around 1100Sek. They onlt have hamburger and pancake for kids. So generally it is really nice place to go as a couple or group without kids.
