Motel 6 Norfolk, VA

This was absolutely the worst motel i have ever visited. Definitely not what we saw in any or their very nice pictures. I would have given ZEROS on everything but location. My bed sheets were dirty. Entire room was nasty. Burn marks over tv stand. Holes in each side of bath door. Sink handle not attached to faucet. Holes in night stand. We checked out approximately 5 hours after checking in. Heating unit was nasty and didnt work.

Very disappointed. False advertisement. There's 4 blocks of units. The front block had been renovated with king beds and new furniture. All other units were still being flipped. Our first night we were given a back room of last unit and it was horrible. The manager was very good to us and gave us what she considered a premium room by the pool on main floor of 3rd block. It was much better but still pricy for what we got. The pool was great and well maintained. The washing machines worked but dryers were out of order. Discount chain with many locals renting rooms. There we some homeless individuals sleeping in the 3 golf carts. Suspicious vehicles with darkened car windows circulating the perimeters at various hours of the day and night. We had the room booked for 4 nights and left after 3. About 20 to 25 minute drive from Virginia Beach boardwalk.

The problem that I incounter was my reservation was for 12/26 - 1/2 instead of me checking in on time, i got to the hotel at 9pm with my two children and not able to check in until 4am of the 27th, because of the reservation problem at no time no one offer me a credit of anything and i had to check out a whole day early with no apologies really hurt me as a paying customer and a single father who had to sleep in his car with my children until we was able to check in. I am not happy and feel that i should receive some type of credit back to credit card.

TV remote nor TV didn't work in the first three rooms. Air Condition or Heater Unit was broken. Towels and wash cloths look a dingy colored white.

Need to fire everyone and start over it’s very horrible and all the workers including management need to go . They don’t clean any rooms , don’t fix anything that needs to be fixed , the company they keep on the premises is not a good look , the list can go on and on

First off, be sure to ask about the decal for your car upon checking in because your vehicle will be towed without one. The one who checked me in didn't even bother to ask me about my vehicle or even mention anything about needing a decal and I woke up one morning to find my car "missing." Thankfully, I didn't have to pay to have it pulled out of storage because it was the employees fault for not giving me a decal and was able to get my car. The first room had black mold so I requested another room which I couldn't even open because the latch needs replaced, so I got a 3rd room. The 3rd room had not been cleaned prior to my arrival and had pee stains on the toilet, dirt inside the sink, and pube hair on one of the beds. Not to mention the floor had not been swept or mopped at all and I had to get unusable motel towels so I could clean the room myself as I didn't even want to request another room because I was just plain tired. Overall, the employees are semi approachable and checked to see if everything was alright when an ambulance had to come to take my friend to the hospital because he had multiple seizures that wouldn't stop. After everything, I didn't even stay the full trip. The vibe of the place is questionable at best and given everything that had happened, I simply couldn't even sleep and went to truck stop just so I could get some sleep. Overall, I will not stay here again and wouldn't recommend the place either.

Rooms were just that. No fridge or anywhere to store items. Rooms were semi clean my white socks are now brown. Stayed 3 nights and never had a maid clean or bring towels.

I arrived at the hotel ethe price was totally different from the website, the room was nasty, stink and strange people was standing around the place . It was loud and very dirty I had to find another hotel to stay at

The room smelled like piss when you walked in. You can tell the floors were not sweep or mopped , tv had mostly Spanish speaking shows and I’m English couldn’t change the setting , the bed felt like the sheets weren’t really changed.
