Hotel Baia di Nora

Stayed 7 days half board at the excellent Hotel Baia Di Nora in Pula, Sardinia. Booked it through ***********. It says it’s 4 star I reckon 5 star. 30 minutes from Cagliari airport. Very quiet location, perfect site with circa 150 rooms all set In beautiful gardens around a fountain. Grounds and flowers were immaculate, with 3 swimming pools and a pool bar. Evening entertainment and plenty to do for younger guests. The restaurant in a separate building away from reception was perfect in every way. The food was exceptional and the staff top rate with brilliant service every night. The food was delicious, great offering at breakfast …….buffet lunch …..4 course dinner with salad as well. One of my best holidays ……..plus a private beach. The beaches were all outstanding in terms of cleanliness and the sea was clear blue. Will definitely return. The staff were the best I have experienced at the pool, in the bar, in the restaurant. Wish I could go back next week.

We had our wedding reception here and from the moment we started organising things with the director Nicola in September of 2022 he and his team did everything in their power and then some in order to ensure we had the perfect wedding. The service was excellent and all the staff clearly enjoy making sure guests have a good time and really care about what they do. We can't praise them highly enough

Stayed for one week half board basis. Short taxi transfer from airport. Was told at check in that pool area was closed for at least 2 days,(technical difficulties) nota good start. Main reason for a sun holiday is relaxing by pool as shown in all splendour on hotel website. Definitely would not have booked this hotel if had known this prior. Private beach was very nice. Staff were very friendly and efficient, especially in dining room. Breakfast was very good continental, excellent breads, cold cuts etc. loved double espresso in morning. Lunch is practically non existent, salads or sandwiches only available in bar.Oh for some grilled meat Ona barbecue. Dinner was very limited with only 2 choices for each course and not of a great standard. On the plus side I have never seen a more beautiful hotel garden/grounds. Lovely to stroll in. Superior rooms were spacious and very clean and private. Rooms cleaned and towel change every day.Pool area when it opened on3rd day was beautiful and well maintained by friendly lifeguard. I got the feeling that because it was the start of season not all hotel facilities were open. No music or entertainment in evenings bar very quiet, nothing on tv in bar only Italian music videos. Asked if we could watch Eurovision Song Contest to liven up the atmosphere (computer says no!). Anyway if you are looking for a very quiet break away in beautiful surroundings this is the place.

We booked the hotel based on the pictures of the beach on their website. The beach doesn't look like that in reality at all. After travelling around the island this was one of the least impressing beaches of all, and if we knew that we wouldn't have chose this hotel. The room was nice, the bed was comfy. The hotel grounds are nice and the pool is also a decent size. However there is limited sunbeds around the pool, and by the time we went to have breakfast all of them was reserved with towels, even though most of them wouldn't be occupied for most of the day. The restaurant service is not great. We booked full board, but we ended up not having lunch there as it was quite underwhelming. You have to pick your choice of dinner at breakfast, and dinner only starts at 8pm which was quite late for us. The gym is really poor, there is some old machines, no free weights at all, it is located in the basement. There is not much going on around the hotel, therefore I think it is good for older people but not for younger couples.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the workers in the hotel for excellent work. The high standard of the hotel is also evidenced by the fact that divers people have been working there for more than 20 years. Our family has been coming to the hotel since 2007. Also I want to thank the director of the hotel s facilities Nicola Puddu for hotel facilities. The hotel has a great atmosphere and look even better in real life than in the photos. The only thing that really bothers me about this hotel is that this hotel does not own. Meantime :-) Michal

A nice short 40 minute ride from airport. Lovely gardens, great pools especially for young and old. Beach and sea lovely and at arms length - so good. Gardens wonderful. Room spotless. Nora ruins amazing to see. Restaurant very poor. It seems they may be short staffed which could be one reason. My coffee was served to me this morning with no saucer and confirmed they have no style. Tables have been left full of used crockery for more than 40 minutes this morning. It looks awful. Despite no smoking in the restaurant they allow it to happen and with a large number of Europeans there is plenty of smoke. Would love to come because it is a very lovely place completely spoilt by a very very poor restaurant. Some serious training and customer service improvement needed.

Great 2 week stay at this beautiful hotel. Located right on the beach with clean fine sand and clear waters. Great pool, super service, lovely gardens, good food, spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. Special shout out to Sarah the kids animator - she was amazing and took care of our kids everyday with lots of activities and was always super attentive to their needs. She spoke English and French perfectly and our 2 kids (4yrs and 2yrs) were so sad to leave her, as were we!! If you're after a relaxing holiday and somewhere that is perfectly adapted to young and older kids then look no further! Defintely going back!

My wife and I have returned to Roma after another magical two weeks at The Baia Di Nora. Booking process, rooms (very good cleaning service), beach (well run) restaurant (Outstanding service, excellent meals & wines and vegetarian friendly for my wife), American Bar (excellent service), entertainment all managed by professional excellent workers who really make it come together successfully in the great well tended setting of varied and beautiful nature. Our annual process begins with a query in January to GianMauro, an exceptional communicator and Baia Di Nora representative, concerning booking times and cost schedule. The results of these communications allow very good planning and coordination with the overall transportation plan. From there it is just counting the day until the magic begins. Another great year for us!! Counting the days until next year. Gary & Maria Grazia
