Hotels near Taixu Tower Courtyard, Ningbo

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas. 1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes. 2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale 3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days . 4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced . 5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby. 6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use . 7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes . 8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees. 9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion! 10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking . For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those . The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

The downstairs is quiet and convenient, and the hotel's hardware and software facilities are comfortable. The only thing is that the hair dryer is noisy and does not produce negative ions.

The magician like design was amazing and it is a magical place for selfie ! It is worth to come with friends and share a fantastic moment together.  It took me around 1 hour to explore different areas and took photos. The room was European style and spacious,  you can enjoy the beautiful scene nearby.   The design of your room door is a book shelf that you need to find which book you tab the key card to open the door. No worries the beautiful staff will teach you.  Compliments to the nice female staff who help me to store the suitcases after check out.

The hotel is trying, but missing the mark in a lot of ways…felt like a bit of a letdown for a 4 star hotel. The location kind of sucks. It’s right beside a metro though which is good. Breakfast is served in a room with about 10 tables…so you’ll be fighting for a seat. It’s a very limited breakfast as well. The rooms have no coffee or tea. No fridge in the rooms. The rooms have a nice sofa and table but no chairs (making it hard to work). Elevators feel more appropriate for a 2 star hotel. However, the staff were very attentive. There’s a nice coffee machine in the lobby.

A very good stay experience! When I booked the room, I thought the room was not big, but I found that the space arrangement was very reasonable and it was more than enough for one person. I checked in late at night, and the guy at the front desk was very nice. He gave me breakfast and Ningbo’s famous oil Zanzi, which is a mixture of seaweed and sesame seeds. It’s super delicious! The next day I went to Gulou and bought some more to take home. The room was very clean, the bedding was very good, and the mattress was very comfortable. The hotel is located in the city center, which is very convenient. Yes, there are many All Seasons hotels in Tianyi Square. You should pay attention when positioning. I will choose here again next time!

Room is small, location is excellent. 100 inch projection is amazing. It is like sleeping in a movie theater, we watched 3 movies for 6 hours. Definitely would stay here again.

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very clean and chic hotel with fantastic location. Staff friendly, helpful, polite, knowledgeable and service oriented; offered water and tea when we taking rest in lobby and when we checking out. And you can enjoy free supper, and free laundry! Wonderful! Comforting and welcoming lobby, we will book Atour again in near future to China😍😍😍

This time I came to Ningbo for a trip, I spent a long time choosing a hotel. I have to say that Ningbo Grand Hotel really satisfied me☺️ 💡The hotel is in a good location, in the city center of Ningbo, and can walk to popular attractions such as Tianyi Square and Old Bund🚶 📺The room facilities are also very good. There are smart devices in the room, and no electricity card is required. The room is also very large and comfortable. It can be said that it is quiet in the bustling city, and the view outside the window is also beautiful. Clean and hygienic, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas 😻The front desk lady and brother provided very good service. At first, they couldn’t find a parking space and helped to solve it enthusiastically. There were greetings when entering and leaving the lobby! If there are any problems, they will help to solve them as soon as possible. I give you a big thumbs up👍 🍽️Because the itinerary is quite full, I got up early, and there are many types of breakfast: steamed pastries, fried rice, porridge, etc., as well as freshly cooked noodles🍜The fruits are also very fresh This trip to Ningbo is really happy🥳When checking out, the lady will also ask if you need to bring water, which is super considerate

The hotel is nice and room are spacious. The location is fine too. Breakfast is more Chinese stile oriented but there is a coffee machine and the coffee is fine. The only issue I had are bites all over my feet and legs by insects. I think it is due to the carpet floor both in the rooms and on each floor corridor.
