Novotel Ningbo East

The staff were okay, but there were many downsides. The TV in our original room was broken, so we had to switch rooms. In the new room, the showerhead couldn't be adjusted and the water pressure was very low. The square toilet was quite uncomfortable. There were mosquitoes in the room; we had to get up in the middle of the night to find an old-fashioned mosquito coil. My child got bitten on their neck and legs. This place really needs a renovation, but I guess they're avoiding the cost. With its current state, I definitely wouldn't recommend it based on value for money.

Came to Ningbo for tomb sweeping and stayed near here. It's quite convenient for dining as there are many shopping malls nearby, and the hotel price is very reasonable. It offers great value for money and I would stay here again. The only downsides are that the hotel is a bit old, and the water pressure in the lower-floor rooms is a bit low.

Extremely satisfied! I didn't expect such a high-quality stay for this price; it far exceeded my expectations. The specific pros: the room was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean with no strange odors. Check-in was immediate upon arrival, with no delays. The 2 PM check-out time was very generous (most hotels are 12 PM). It's also quite close to the subway station and the Ningbo Cultural Plaza Grand Theater, making it very convenient for catching a show. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in town for a performance.

I called the front desk on the evening of March 13th to request some bottled water, and they said 'okay' but never sent it up. I called again, still nothing. I tried once more, and still no water. It wasn't until the next morning that the front desk finally sent it. Was it forgotten, or just completely ignored?

Our stay here far exceeded expectations! The room was spotless and bright, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. A bath in the tub was just what I needed to unwind. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even proactively upgrading our room. Breakfast offered a fantastic variety, and the made-to-order noodle station was a real highlight for me. The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the subway. It's excellent value for money, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to the city!

The room was a suite on the 15th floor, directly facing Ningbo Central Building and Hankyu, offering a nice city view. A fruit platter was provided upon check-in. However, there were quite a few downsides. The toilet room had no ventilation, the shower water pressure was very low, and the water temperature wasn't hot enough. The room windows were drafty, and the air conditioning was only adjusted upwards after 6 PM, with a maximum temperature of around 23 degrees Celsius, so the room never really warmed up. In December, there were active mosquitoes in the room even in the middle of the night, and when I asked the front desk for mosquito repellent, they didn't have any. Overall, the experience was not great.
