New Hotels in Ulaanbaatar

"Positives: The location was walkable - there is an error to say it’s 20km from main square - it’s 2km away and walkable so location is good. Next to a small mall, food and convenience shop 24x7. It’s super new and everything is so clean and neat. Hot showers. Clean sheets. Aircond in room which is controllable. Fridge. Disposable bath towel, face towel, toothbrush, in-shower shampoo, soap and even conditioner, hair-dryer! Helpful staff. Overall great great stay! And of yah - it’s on the 4th floor but there is a lift thankfully. Negatives: Breakfast is a plan shelf bun - nothing else. They sold my room despite me contacting them to say I was delayed for morning and not night check in and charged me for the day of the bed sold. But they were nice to find me alternative and refund the other. It would have been nice to get a compensation for the shock that the paid bed was not available. Overall staff nice and pleasant. The need to implement recycling cause they was very organized w disposable towels and slippers - but no recycling or attempt to reduce waste. Just need to go a bit green. Karaoke downstairs can be a bit loud."

"A new, small hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. The location is good if you're going to get your car serviced; there's a chassis repair shop, a Vietnamese welding shop, and car washes nearby. Inconveniences: there was no hairdryer in the room, and there was no hot water during our stay (due to the lack of water in the city). The central square is a 15-20-minute walk away. Breakfast was included in our reservation, but upon check-in, we were told we needed to pay an additional 30,000 tugr (~$8) per person. Tripcom later reimbursed us for this expense as a bonus."

"I stayed for one night. My flight arrived late at night, but the owner's chat support was incredibly helpful. Especially, they sent me a message saying 'show this screen to the driver when you get in a taxi from the airport,' and doing so made it easy to get to the hotel. When I had trouble unlocking the room, the owner even came to the property to help. Thank you very much! The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Be careful with the loft ladder, as it's quite high! There's a mall with a convenience store very close by, and combined with the location, my overall satisfaction with this stay was very high! Highly recommended!!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The location is excellent—right in the city center and within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transport. The hostel was cleaned daily, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The internet connection worked well throughout my stay, and having access to Netflix was a nice bonus for relaxing in the evenings. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. There is also a balcony where smoking is allowed, which may be convenient for some guests. A small tip for coffee lovers: if you plan to brew your own coffee, make sure to bring or buy coffee machine filters. Oh, I loved their universal power outlet sockets that fit all plugs 2/3, flat/round, USB, C-something (I can’t recall the name) etc… The only improvement I would suggest is replacing the plastic plates and mugs with ceramic or glass ones, as they would make the experience feel even nicer. Overall, this hostel offers great value for money, a convenient location, and a comfortable atmosphere. I don't think I'll be looking for any other place to stay anytime soon whenever I'm back in Ulaanbaatar."

"It feels like there are 2-3 rooms within one apartment, divided into male/female shared, female-only, and male-only sections. It's very compact. For the low price, the cleanliness offers good value for money, but I think it's best suited for just sleeping. Pros: ・They lend you one towel. ・There are two convenience stores in the same building, so you won't have trouble finding food. ・Breakfast? You can freely eat/drink the food and beverages in the kitchen (bread, cornflakes, biscuits, coffee). ・The owner's personality is genuinely good. Cons: ・There are no partitions for the beds. ・There's only one toilet and shower, and they're in the same room."

"It's quite clean. The toilet even had a bidet. The refrigerator was a convenient addition. Breakfast was delicious too."

"Room: The hotel needs to clean the room thoroughly, not just the bathroom but also the carpeted area, and fix the base board moldings as well as the loose heater radiator which supposed to be anchored down to the wall. Although the room is carpeted wall to wall, I can see bare floor on the edges and the corners. Location: Not good, but at the same time not bad either. All attractions are within $3~$4 away which is more than I paid in other ~stan countries nearby. May be it is a Mongoljan thing, but for me it wasn't easy to hire taxi cab unless I am willing to pay the extra tips. The front staffs: Very friendly and eager to provide help. Not all of them speaks English, but it is not a problem since they translator app is widely available. Furnitures in the room: Very old, and there are wears and tears every part of the furniture. I don't know the other rooms, but the room I was given was too small for the furnitures to be placed in first place. Overall: I wouldn't stay here again. The over all conditions of the hotel was not even close to the pictures shown in the trip.com app. If you select this hotel based on the pictures, you would be very disappointed if you are given the room I stayed in. Avoid Room 602 anyway you can."

"The room was clean and spacious. Had small kits with toothbrush/ toothpaste, soap. The hosts helped me a lot (despite the language barrier) to figure out the situation with my luggage that got lost by the airline. Unfortunately there is no elevator and no one helped to bring the luggage upstairs."
