Overall the hotel was nice. Aesthetically the lobby, market area and courtyard were amazing & nicely designed. Would been nice if we were able to get a double bed but they were sold out. Also room service was a little slow on bringing items to the room that we requested. Overall the stay was great and location was superb for our needs. Iâd definitely stay there again!

First of all, I have experienced Ace Hotel Portland few years ago, so I chose Ace Hotel this time also. I trust this brand.
1) Location : Subway A,C,G line is very near from the hotel, so It is easy to move to Manhattan. Also, East Brooklyn like Williamsburg is not far from here. We usually used the Lyft for moving to Williamsburg, and it took about 15min.
2) Cleanliness : the hotel room was well-organised and very clean. Room-keepers were very kind and there are no difficult to communicate.
3) Service : Reception and room-keepers and engineers were so kind and very helpful.
4) Facilities : I have used Gym, and it is small but well-organised. Treadmill is good, but Cycle is malfunctioned.

This hotel really does not dare to compliment, it is totally not worth the price. First of all, whether you consume or not, you must pay $ 25 a day. I stayed three nights and couldn't sleep every day. The sound of the heater can scare you. This hotel is totally a famous gimmick, with a big bad review.

The room size is okay. It's standard for a normal three-star hotel in China, which is rare in New York. The location is pretty good, and it's relatively close to the subway station. It's only two subway stops away from Manhattan.
The soundproofing of the room is average. If you don't sleep well, I suggest you tell the front desk and ask them to give you a room not facing the street. They are L-shaped, so some rooms are facing the street and some are not.
Also be careful to avoid the ice-making machines, they are too noisy.
There is 24-hour hot boiled water in the lobby on the first floor! ! !
The service was very enthusiastic. While I was waiting for the bus in the lobby, there was a front desk clerk named Molly who took the initiative to help me keep my luggage.

Excellent
KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely âsensitiveâ person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely donât typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Letâs just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said âIâm surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) ďżź either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserWe always stay at Marriott, although I rarely use my Bonvoy membership. I always book our hotel through trip.com. The fridge had a bottle of Coke that had been drank by the previous guest. The hair dryer bag is dusty.
Everything else looks good. They provide free water during check-in and a raincoat in case of rain.
The breakfast seems decent for the price.
GGuest UserThe check in process was very quick and felt very rushed. There was no tour of the building so I was left to find things on my own. Thats my only complaint, other than that it was accurately descirbed.
BBINBINExcept for an extra charge of $ 49 per person per day of the resort fee, this is not acceptable, and I hope to cancel it.
Good location, same building with park central. Manhattan club
Newly renovated, but the toilet and bathroom in the room are too small, only half the size of the Manhattan club
Breakfast was generous and dinner was negligible,
Opposite diagonally is Carnegie Hall, the subway station is right out, walk 10 minutes to times square 5 minutes to central park
15 minutes by subway to Wall Street,
If you can cancel the resort fee. I will book this hotel every time I go
Otherwise, I would still choose Manhattan club
AAnton26Great locationâŚ.but thatâs what youâre paying for.
Check in was fast and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There are umbrellas to use in the rainy weather and the front concierge staff are happy and greet you nicely.
The location is convenient- close to all main sites of NYC but just far away enough from the noise and bustle so you can have a peaceful nightâs sleep. Air conditioning can be adjusted as our room got a little too cool for our comfort.
The luxury king room high floor itself is disappointing. Quite a bit more in cost compared to a standard king room, the room doesnât have any fabulous views or even a bathtub that can accommodate someone comfortably. One website advertises the luxury king rooms have a âspa bathâ. This is fact is not true and incorrect. Room slippers are very nice and there are enough towels for 2 people.
Pillows are too soft and the room furniture is tired-looking. Some peeling wallpaper as well indicating the need for a refit.
For the money, thereâs no breakfast either and if you wish to extend your checkout after 11am, itâs $100 for 1-3 hours. A bit rich, considering youâre better off getting a lounge pass at the airport or simply go for a walk around this amazing city. To compensate, thereâs an awesome diner 50m from the hotel that serves fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bathroom products are lovely- Balmain and thereâs only 1 bathrobe in the room, which I thought was strange, considering the booking was for 2 people. No minibar either⌠why is this?!
I would stay again simply because of the location but I would not pay for the luxury king room high floor again, as itâs not worth the money. Keep the location but take a standard room.
MmelI really like the Sheraton Hotel, this place is really very satisfying, highly recommend for a relaxing holiday, the service is quite good and friendly and very clean, and complete equipment will not disappoint
GGuest UserLocation was superb, next to the main subway station. The concierge staff was very friendly. They need to check that you're a guest before you can walk in to the hotel - this is probably because their lift does not enable guest only access to each floor - you do not need a card to go up to any floor. They charge a $39.99 destination fee and give you a $15 market value to buy food everyday.. (500ml water for $7.5, plain bagel for $5, ham and cheese bagel for $18...) They charge $4/bag for baggage storage after you check out.. Other than these 'small' charges, everything else is good.
MMisti WallerWe get there at 10:00am - We knew we couldnt check in but asked anyway. Lady on Thurs 9/28 told me we couldnt yet and gave us bag tags to hold our bags for us. Very nice and pleasant. We then return to the hotel at 9pm to finally check in. We had a great day seeing the city. We are then told that the room I booked was over sold and they can not provide me with a King that I purchased but a double. This was the manager - She discounted the bill and $54 and told me they would make sure we were accommodated tomorrow. The room we were put it was the size of a walk in closet with a bed with a window unit that water dropped on all night making a loud noise with every drop. It also had a broken shelf above the sink so you literally had no where to put anything. It was horrible and honestly a $54 discount was not nearly enough.
Friday at 9am we come down turn in the room keys and explain to yet a third person....she understands and says I see notes here and we have a king room for you. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room number but she said no not yet we have to wait for the people to check out. We check our bags with tags and leave them at the desk again. We then spend another wonderful day exploring the city. We return around 9pm again and another person is working and has absolutely no idea of anything that was supposed to be done for us. I asked for any other room then the one we were in first and they had a queen room available. I took it after being so tired. The lady gave me the managers email and said he would speak to her for us. I will be reaching out but now that we checked out sat morning I dont believe we will be compensated for this terrible lack of communication. We never even got to unpack our bags.
JJuliane ThiemThe hostel is well located but keep in mind that this is just a basic hostel, nothing fancy. We stayed three nights, wouldnât have stayed any longer tbh. The rooms were clean, so as the bathrooms but what we didnât like was the volume in the hostel. Nobody was particularly loud but the doors of the rooms and bathrooms close extremely loudly that you will wake up from that in the middle of the night. Ear plugs are a necessity. Also the staff at the front desk was not very friendly especially the staff for the luggage drop off, keep in mind that you have to pay for the drop off, which I found quite rude and expensive. Wouldnât stay here again but for a short cheap stay it is totally fine
AAshley NicoleThe hotel is in an excellent location. Itâs very easy to get around by walking or hopping on the metro. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, but the hotel itself is in need of renovations (as other reviews have stated). If the hotel were to make those renovations I would stay again.
