The inn is lovely and we liked our room, beautiful decor for Christmas as well, we would have liked to have choices for breakfast but you just get what they give you and even though we asked ahead of time on the day of our departure for a to go breakfast as was stated in the details we were told nothing was available so we left for the airport without food.

My husband and I visited in December 2023 for a quick getaway for our Anniversary. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again, if a few things are addressed. Positives: The Inn was beautiful. We loved the decor and architecture. It is a historical building that is well maintained and cozy. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable with attention to small details. Breakfast was good, not great, but the Innkeeper was very nice and thoughtful since she did give me gluten free toast instead of a biscuit. The location was nice and quiet. It is not as close to the French Market as I had hoped but it was an easy streetcar ride or Uber ride. There were a couple restaurants that were a quick walk from the Inn. Our favorite was Katie’s, which we highly recommend. Needs Improvement: The first night we slept well except there was a beeping coming from something on and off throughout the night. We unplugged several things the next day but we obviously did not unplug the correct device because the beeping continued the next night. The second night I did not sleep very well at all. The room was very warm and stuffy. I was able to fall asleep for an hour or two but woke up around 11pm sweating and having difficulty breathing. I texted the Innkeeper twice and walked around the Inn to try to find a thermostat. I couldn’t find one and did not get a response from the Innkeeper. I was up for hours and only fell asleep here and there from sheer exhaustion. The Innkeeper did respond

I appreciate that she responded eventually, however, that didn’t help us, since we had gotten up and left by that point. Also, we had planned on using the hot tub, however, the water was green.

We stayed here again for our third visit from Atlanta four days starting Nov 16, 45th anniversary! Without a doubt the best B&B in N.O. Easy process, and first rate service. Very responsive to calls and emails. Our Prytania King Suite was a spacious unit with so much charm. With 15-feet high ceilings, period woodwork, flooring and a fireplace, we were transported back in time. The king-sized bed was comfy and the modern bathroom was fitted with two sinks and a glass enclosed shower. Only downfall for some is the steps, even if in a room on main floor, quite a few to enter. But it’s a great place. Hot tub in rear, rarely used, but I do! Easy access to a the FQ via the quintessential trolly right in front of the Inn, or Uber/Lyft $10-$15 depending where you go. We simply cannot rate this place high enough! You must go!

I visit New Orleans every year to see my family. This was my first time staying in a B and B instead of with them due to renovations at their home. This area is beautiful and it's easy to get everywhere from here. The Inn is spotlessly clean, and has lovely décor. The streetcar runs right by. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff is very kind and helpful. I was concerned about being in a hotel or B and B, but this one is so nice, that I actually spent time in my room reading in the lovely window seat.

Very pleasant place to stay. Highly recommend staying here. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff a very helpful and friendly. Located on the main *****, but just out from the main area. Peaceful and quiet. If you like the old style look. With history then this is the place for you. Has plenty to keep you entertained. Also has a small gym. The street trolley 47/48 stops straight outside and for $4 a day you can travel around

This was a very good choice. I have no complaints. Only suggest they share street car and bus schedules / app for guests. Also a map would have been great even if it was posted in the hallway or lounge. We too much time getting lost trying to find a grocery store, drug store and liquor store. We downloaded the Moovit app but it would have been nice to know about the app at time of check-in. Also the Waffle House closes on the inside at midnight, we found out the hard way and had to wait for our food a while and was charged extra $3 for to go fee.

The rooms are nice, very clean. We stayed on the lower level but the a/c was not able to keep up with the heat. Service could have been much better. Breakfast was lacking and the coffee was cold. Very limited parking.

Great location for getting to the French quarter and dock area because of the trolley stop right across the street. We didn't drive our car while we stayed here. The suite was huge, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The innkeeper gave us very helpful suggestions about sites to see and where to eat. Very tasty breakfast each morning.
