Travelodge Stoney Cross Lyndhurst

Perfect stay to get into the new forest- easy check in and clean room.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Stoney Cross and I would highly recommend it to anyone to stay there with or without a family. Perfect location and great value for money and right on the doorstep of the new forest. The room was very clean and spacious, it was warm with 1 very large comfortable bed there were supplies of tea,coffee, milk also a kettle and 4 mugs, the bed sheets and pillowcases were spotlessly clean as were all of the towels, the room was exceptionally clean including the carpets and bathroom. I enjoyed the stay thoroughly, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and made me feel very welcome. A special thank you to Kirsty for her patience with me when continually asking for recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, (Renoufs was a grand recommendation) she has a heart of gold and is a real credit to travelodge. I would also like to say a big thank you for making our stay such a happy one and for all their hard work in and around the hotel keeping it very nice for everyone.

A pleasant stay somewhat let down by external noise & the obvious odour of **** on our corridor. Great position for entry to the park, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst & some wonderful eateries & country pubs.

Great location for a wedding I attended. Really friendly staff especially Kirsty who let me have my room a little earlier before early check in. Would recommend for the price. Bed was comfy and very quiet even though next to the road so had a great nights sleep. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The person staying in the romed before us smoked and got wasted. The room (particularly the bathroom) had an awful smell of tobacco and vomit. There was vomit on some of the walls next to the bed and carpet. The staff had left both windows open to little avail. Because of the rain, the kids' bed by the window was wet and the room was damp and cold. Last week we stayed 5 nights at different Travelodge and all were fine but the Stoney Cross establishment was extremely dissapointing.

We were initially given rooms next to the main road ...... and quickly found that despite triple glazing we were unable to sleep due being a light sleeper and the traffic noise. ( My son next door was fine with it ). The staff were great and found a quieter room when requested however ....

Comfortable Bed!! Slept like a log!! Needed this to rest, balance and heal. Even though the main A31 runs alongside this hotel, noise was minimal. Lyndhurst is only 3.1 miles away with a great curry house...Passage to India 👍🙏Well done Travelodge!!!

Stayed here recently with our dog. I was really worried about my dog getting wet, muddy and making a mess, but I was reassured by the hotel manager not to worry. She went out of her way to make a fuss of our dog and any other dog she saw. All the staff we saw were so friendly too. Our room was facing the road but the room was triple glazed so minimal noise was heard from the traffic which was a pleasant surprise as we knew the hotel was situated on a dual carriageway. Our room was clean and quite large and had everything we required. We were advised on the best places to eat which were all a short drive away. Overall a great stay and we look forward to returning in the summer.

The hotel itself was nice and comfortable however very loud from traffic on the A31. The room was nice sized and clean. Check in was quick and easy and check out you just need to pop your keys in a box.
