This is a nice property in a very convenient location to many restaurants and in close proximity to the Rockin R for innertube rentals. The staff were all very nice and professional.
The battery in our door's access pad needed to be replaced after putting he luggage in the room but that was not going to happen until Monday. We were first told that we would be placed in a Queen Suite; but, that ended up not happening since they had none available after our first night there. After the manager was called by the front desk attendant, we were told that we would have to get someone at the front desk to let us in with a key. That was not acceptable to me since we would have to wait in line each time we wanted to get back in our room. Eventually, we were relocated to the adjacent room. I am not sure why this wasn't done to begin with but this was a perfect resolution.
The breakfast assortment was good but it took longer than expected for food to be replenished. Over the four nights/five days there, bacon was never served which was in contrast to the website pics. There was only one small tray of cinnamon rolls out at a time; so, that was empty the majority of the time. We were told breakfast began at 9a; however, it was apparent it began earlier since there were families finishing their meals when we arrived promptly at 9a.
Ice machines are only on the 1st and 3rd floors.
