I slept at The Capital for one night in February, but have stayed there before. All the staff, from the security guard at the gate, the receptionists, housekeeping, the restautant staff and the chef are friendly, attentive and very efficient. The food (both breakfast and supper) was delicious. A most enjoyable experience and highly recommendable.

There is no dinner option, arrived at 8pm everything is closed to get dinner. You need to drive out or walk to go to the Southern Sun hotel for dinner. When we booked all inclusive this was never mentioned that there is no dinner facility. The receptionist assumed that we should know this. When I got there, there was no one at reception, the security just looked and said nothing.

This was our second stay at Utopia in Africa and we definitely hope that we can return. It was just as wonderful as we had remembered from staying there as a family in 2016! The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable. It is the perfect stop off when travelling from Johannesburg airport to the Kruger after surviving an international flight. The owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We thoroughly recommend Utopia as a wonderful place to stay.

Located in a calm, clean and safe prime neighbourhood, with beautiful garden with many trees and plants, it is a excellent place for those visiting Mbombela and Kruger National Park. The room was comfortable, clean and care with a nice balcony. The delicious breakfast is served on a splendid balcony with a wonderful view. The best way to start the day. The hosts and all the staff were very helpful and friendly making the atmosphere very welcoming.
