We had the pleasure of being served and waited on by Ben Harris who was a delight and really made our night, myself and the girls were looking for a quiet cheap Xmas dinner and my god did we hit the jackpot, food was stunning the service impeccable and the venue was very clean and tidy, couldn't ask for any more, will definitely be back.

A Chris**as and birthday dinner out for family and friends. My mother's 75th birthday was meant to be really special. Lots of items on menu not available. Overcooked vegetables weren't a positive either. Following day fealt nauseous. Overnight and next two days violently sick with dysentery. Rang mother and her friend today only to hear they were very ill at the same time. We have NOROVIRUS! Dirty filthy business here. Stay well clear.

Called in here for lunch. My husband's meal was ok but my fish was full of grease. Sent it back and had three thin slices of ham and two eggs one of which was broken and the other barely cooked. The chips were tasteless and not at all crispy. But on the good side my dogs enjoyed the ham I took home for them. So not all bad.

I booked a meal 3 weeks in advance for my Husbands birthday. We got there on the day to be told there was a problem with a delivery but to show how sorry they were, we could have a voucher for a meal at any later date. I was asked for my email address so this could be sent to us online. A week later, not having received this voucher, my husband suggested that I check that I had given them the email I had booked with, in case it mattered. I went in, explained to the staff member who then went to the manager, returned to say yes she remembered us could we leave the email we had booked with. By now I’m feeling uncomfortable about the whole situation but I give them the benefit of doubt and leave my email. Guess what? Nothing!! Not how you should treat new customers! Shame on you, No wonder the manager wouldn’t show her face ! There’s nicer places in Neath to give our money to. I recommend The Round House, good food and Excellent customer service!

If your looking for a basic bedsit, this may tick your box. I booked this last minute and it was the only place available in Neath. Negatives TV connection doesn’t work - you have access to YouTube and Netflix. Spent 2 nights the tea coffee milk facilities were replenished. The sink leaks - if you run the tap it pours through the u-bend. Slightly embarrassing asking for toilet roll, but there was only a tiny bit of loo roll left.. I needed more during the 2 night stay. The window can’t open - slightly frustrating as I like to sleep with the window open Positives Cleanish Bed was comfy and warm Provided with additional plug in heater as the radiators don’t work Space to hang your clothing Booked via a business account and it stated breakfast was included - for £75 I would except breakfast. Came down in the morning and it was pitch black and no-one available. Had to leave for work, but brought it up in the evening. It appeared to be error that breakfast was stated. However, they made a point they would wake and make me a full English… most awkward breakfast ever - I think they were annoyed to do it. But I apprenticed the effort.. cringe! Remember to request the ironing board AND iron, otherwise only one will be brought without the other - 🤦🏾‍♀️
