We really enjoyed our stay. The cuisine is really excellent and offers a lot of choice. The courteous staff are also very nice and take very good care of their guests. The wellness and spa area is highly recommended and offers plenty of opportunities to relax. You simply feel very comfortable during your stay. We are really looking forward to our next visit!

The email we received to confirm our booking said “ we can not wait to exceed your expectations “ They definitely did . I can not recall ever being in a resort that came even close to the level of attention of details they had. The five level spa is simply a piece of art . The food , service , spa treatment , classes and the views all did exceed our expectations. Thank you so much and I can not wait to come again next year IA.

My stay at Preidlhof was so much more than I dreamed of! The resort is stunning, they thought of everything for a comfortable and luxurious stay. You can even sleep under the stars on your balcony daybed - so cozy and magical! They have connected wellness and nature to another level.. there actually is a 6 Story Sauna Tower (including steam room, 360• sauna, cold plunge, and infinity pools.) The team is so helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly. Carmine and Patrizia were wonderful at creating the perfect experience for me (and customizing my wellness itinerary.) Stefano and Martin are masters at their healing, I am so grateful to have worked with them. Thank you Preidlhof, I will be back! :)

The location is lovely (you need a car to get here) and the hotel is mostly luxurious feeling. Many locations to relax around the pools, which are nice. Best “all you can eat”/buffet style food service I have had, though overall no meal was particularly memorable. Choice of many pillows/mattress toppers to ensure comfort, which I appreciated, air-con in room worked nicely, large rain shower. I went for the transformational program, but I don’t feel it was anything more than a regular spa package that included room/board. My treatments/classes were spread out which actually was more stressful because I had to be in one place, then wait, then have another 1-2 hours later, or have a massage right before dinner which you then have to dress up for, which I find inconvenient. I should have just booked the room and then several spa treatments when I wanted them. It was overall hard to relax and feel rejuvenated, so it did not meet my expectations for a “transformational” experience. A little more explanation on how to use facilites for people who don’t use saunas/know customs (many guests are from countries where sauna-ing is a custom) would be nice. Things I noticed that made it less pleasant: there was minimal or no fan/air conditioning during dinner, which was inside, and it’s summertime so both hot/humid making dinner unpleasant. Also, water was free from a machine during breakfast/lunch, but you had to buy bottled for dinner which seems petty for an already very expensive stay. Lastly, it’s very off putting that guests are allowed to smoke at the pool/on their patios. As a place for health/wellness, your guests should have to smoke off premises, as others may not want to smell smoke from the next door patio/next to them at the pool.

We were on a well hotel tour of Austria and Sud Tirol and this place did not disappoint in the least! We had a super cozy room with the romance package. There was a very nice balcony overlooking the town and valley. It was all very modern, not as rustic as Stanglwirt but a really nice place. The sauna tower was great. Lots of different saunas of various temps, a super Dampfbad and a naked swimming pool on the roof! Super dinner and breakfast and of course buffet lunch as well. We took a walk and rode the tram up the mountain to the lookout platform. Two days is too short but the place is very expensive. Loved it.

This is an absolutely perfect hotel. The staff, the room, the food, the spa, the view. Maybe one exception : the music performance on tuesday evening was not good and can be a lot better (thursday was really good). Do not hesitate, it is absolutely worth what you pay for it ! We will certainly go back.

On friends’ recommendation, we spent the week between Christmas and New Year here. It was the perfect getaway at the end of the year, time to recharge and clear our minds. The complex is big and modern, clean and appealing. Every room has a dedicated parking space in the underground garage, the welcome is very friendly, and the check-in was simple and quick. During our stay, the reception staff wasn’t always the brightest and along with misleading or missing signposts made us miss some of the wellness activity on offer. But all in all, everyone was friendly and welcoming, without being too stiff. We did feel at ease always. Since this is a 5-star place, the expectations were high. And for the most part, those expectations have been met. However, it’s especially in the details that these places set themselves apart from other, lower rated accommodation. I would have loved to make this a 5-star review for a 5-star hotel and restaurant, but unfortunately it was especially the details that sometimes disappointed. Would we stay here again though? Yes, absolutely. But a 4-night stay might be enough next time. The Room Well designed and modern, our room felt slightly bigger than the pictures made it seem. Spotlessly clean on arrival and just very inviting. Really big balcony/terrace with news views across the valley and town. There’s some really nice and convenient touches to be found … The TV can be swivelled to allow viewing from bed. A convenient master switch for all the lights in the bed’s headboard. Recessed / hidden lighting. Super big walk-in shower with both handheld and rain shower, and clever mood lighting. The rooms are really well sound-proofed. No noise whatsoever from the outside or, more importantly perhaps, from the neighbouring rooms or the hall. But also a few oversights that tarnished the 5-star claim: cheap kettle with lid almost falling off, wonky toilet flush button. And the aforementioned master switch in the headboard also turns off the power sockets where the phones were plugged in – not so convenient after all. The daily room cleaning was generally very good, but they could spend more time on the details – hair dryer left lying around, used-up tea lights only replaced when positioned in plain sight, some rubbish and no longer required trays not removed. The Restaurant / The Food Really nice restaurant space, no matter what time of day. Buffet selection as well as served plates were always beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, huge selection of bread and rolls, as well as typical and local topping. Good selection of juices, yoghurts, sweet treats. The omelette was quickly prepared to order and always perfect. Generally hard to find a fault in the breakfast menu. The dinner menu consisted of around 5 to 10 courses, most days with up to 3 selections for each course and some courses (like salad and cheese) being offered as a buffet. The buffet selection was always really good and one could have eas

What can I say … an amazing experience A massive focus on immersing yourself into wellness and it’s impossible not to. The hotel and rooms are incredible with panoramic views of mountains and orchards. We stayed in the romantic You and Me suite which was spacious and so comfortable. Day bed so you can sleep outside, pillow and mattress topper menu, WiFi off of night so you’re not disturbed by radiation. Bag provided with gown, slippers and TWO towels for the spa. Also plenty of towels in the sauna tower. Especially liked the fact that there are plenty of hooks (a massive pet peeve when they’re lacking) and USB ports. They really have thought of everything! I recommend booking a spa programme to get the full Preidlhof experience. Mine included lots of healing treatments as well as access to the retreat classes… laughter yoga, mindful eating, forest bathing etc… Just down the corridor from the spa is the 6 floor sauna tower and wow! Each room is a lovely surprise… pools, saunas, hot tubs, relaxation rooms …. All different but incredible and open until 11pm. They also never seemed busy even though the hotel was full. We wouldn’t have realised until we saw them as dinner Finally the food… let me tell you that you’ll never go hungry here! The food has more of an Austrian influence than Italian and the dining room had more of an alpine feel. Breakfast is a buffet feast .. meats, cheeses breads , omelette chef, cereals… lunch is also a buffet feast served from 12-5 to allow for time to pop by between swimming/ saunaing/ spa treatments/ outdoor activities with salads, meats, cheese, fish, pasta chef, cakes. Dinner is served between 7-8.30 and is 7 course gourmet menu and is a mix of selecting from the restaurant area and waiter service. There’s also a matching wine menu which is very reasonably priced. We stayed for 3 nights and definitely could’ve done a week here. There are still many More activities we wanted to do and would also explore the local area as we were so reluctant to part ways with the sauna tower. See you again soon Preidlhof

the energies are really bad in this hotel; Booked 7 nights and fled after one night and checked out - that says it all! Next to the hotel there is a large high-voltage system (2 in this small village), so we didn't sleep all night and got up very restless/trembling. nobody wants to spend their best days of the year like this! In addition, everyone, including the head of the reception, pulls a pout and seems depressed (except Birgit at the reception was the only one who had smiled). The boss was also very unsympathetic and let her employees do the unpleasant conversation... I really can't understand how they got their fame and 5*...
