Hotel Hanakomichi

The front desk closes at 10pm, but there are amenities available at the entrance that you can freely use, as well as deodorizing spray, chopsticks, spoons, and a microwave. There is also a coin laundry (300 yen, no need to bring detergent) and a dryer (100 yen for 30 minutes), which was very convenient. The room was also clean, so I was very satisfied.

It was very conveniently located near Kintetsu Nara Station, with restaurants, bakeries, *****tores, supermarkets, etc. I stayed for several nights, so I cooperated with simplifying the room cleaning, and received a nice thank you.

It was very helpful to be able to leave my luggage both before and after check-in. The facilities were renovated and comfortable.

Speaking of "Hanakoji", I know it is a long-established hotel that has been in operation for decades. It is close to Kintetsu Nara Station, so it is convenient to access, and it was quiet at night, so I slept very well. Although the access and quietness were good, just before checking out, while I was at a nearby supermarket, the cleaning staff opened all the doors to the rooms, and when I returned, the sheets were placed on the floor in front of the room and the doors were fully open. I was surprised because I had left my luggage, computer, and camera in the room. I have stayed in hotels both in Japan and abroad, but this is the first time I have seen a hotel fully open the rooms where guests' luggage is placed before checking out. One man and two women were in charge of the 5th floor (9:00 a.m. on the 9th). I come to Nara every year, and it is unfortunate that this kind of behavior has tainted the impression of Nara. I told the front desk when I checked out, but since this is related to protecting the guests' valuables, I would like them to seriously improve it.

It's hassle-free

I have used it before, and I used it again because of the access to the station temple and the delicious food. The bad thing was that the angle of the shower was the worst, and the mattress was too thin, so if I didn't put the cushion on it, my body would hurt. After that, I think that it is devised for this price.

I heard that the front desk closes at 10:00 pm, so I received a phone call in advance to confirm my arrival time. On the day of the tour, I found out that I would be arriving at JR Nara Station after 22:00, so I called and they were waiting for me. The room is compact and convenient for business trips. Located in a shopping district near Kintetsu Nara Station, it was a convenient location for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and a convenience store at night. I was worried about the wind of the air conditioner when I was sleeping at night.
