Bluewater Hotel

We would never return here. 2 adults. 1 child. We booked over the phone, so told them 3 PEOPLE. Cool, booked and all sorted. We arrived. Our allocated room had ONE double bed and that’s it. I told them, that’s not good enough. We are not paying this money to share with our seven year old. They moved us which was great. 👍🏼 new room. Double bed and a single. But for a room to fit 3 people - we only got two plates. Two cups. Two knifes and so on. I let reception know the following day, and they said they would get it sorted while we were out today when they serviced the room. The lady seemed genuine and nice. I believed her. It was never sorted. Only the towels were changed. I asked them to check the filters in the heat pump as it is very loud and we are freezing at night as there’s no extra blankets. And we can’t leave the heat pump on. Heat pump also wasn’t sorted. It’s ridiculously loud. There is music cranking every night in the bar and we are staying down the other end. There is an awful weird smell in the rooms when you first walk in. Pictures are not what they are online. This place is run down. If the owner can park his rolls Royce outside reception as a statement piece that he has money, surely instead of talking to people so rudely he could put some of that money he has into some nice decor to the rooms to spruce it up abit. Even give the place a paint over. The outside is looking very run down and needs some TLC. Get what ya pay for I guess.

Burglars. Must be because Adhern is paying. Hard to believe the price and conditions! Justifying this would be very hard. It will be very interesting reading the rationalisation of charging so much for this
