The hotel facilities are really great and the service is also very good. The two high stools at the front desk are very convenient for putting bags when checking in. There is also a sofa lounge at the entrance of the gym, which is very good šš» The breakfast is very cost-effective and delicious š. The front desk guy Xiaozhe is responsive and quick to respond. He is always smiling and enthusiastic every time he speaks. I heard that there is a Sam's Club nearby. Although we didn't go there, it's not far for us to walk to Wanda after dinner. It is a hotel worth recommending.

I drove a long distance during the National Day holiday and stayed in Nantong for one night. It was already midnight when I checked in that day and I didn't feel the popularity and surrounding environment. The unexpected occupancy rate was still good at breakfast time the next day. The lobby restaurant of the old hotel is nothing special, but the guest rooms are newly renovated and don't feel old. The surprise is that the hotel is 10 minutes away from Nantong Museum, Zhang Jian Memorial Hall, and China's time-honored Siyi Cake Shop. I parked the car at the hotel and walked to the main attractions. Very pleasantly surprised.

Very pleasant stay: the hotel is designed and built according to the Hilton level, and the room facilities and equipment are perfect without saying. The room is great, with complete facilities, clean and sanitary, and a large space, which is enough for a family of three. The hotel is close to the Mixc, which is convenient for shopping. I chose this hotel because I wanted a staycation with an open air swimming pool. The room was big and spacious, with a beautiful balcony (but not on the swimming pool). The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower and all around the room there were little surprises such as fish food to use for the pond fish, little mottos in both chinese and english, bathgel and other toiletries. What was not evident, though, is that some of this things were not for free! The big bottle of water that we expected to be free (5star hotel, 500 yuan per room!!) was indeed not, and it was written in extremely fine prints on the bottle. Same for the tea leaves in the teaset!
Another disappointment was the breakfast. The choice and quality were ok, but definitely not at a 5-star hotel level. No choice in sweet bread, no coffee and very little variety of fruits.

The room is very clean, on a high floor, and the view outside the window is also nice. The whole hotel is quiet and elegant, and the decoration is also unique. The service is particularly worthy of praise. The hotel is located inside a mall / pedestrian shopping street, but it's quiet far from the tourist area or the city centre.
The hotel is inside a tower, on the upper floors.
The room was very spacious and modern, the bed very soft, and everything was super clean. The WiFi wad fast. Water pressure and hot water was reasonable.

The price of the same Hanting seems to be more close to the people, because it is convenient to live here nearby. Hope business is booming

The only advantage is that it is in the scenic area, the environment is not bad, and there is Langshan next to it, which can be reached in ten minutes on foot.

However, the hotel really doesn't cater to Western couples - it seems like everyone else staying in the hotel was a Chinese couple with young children. There was little information in the hotel about what the hotel had to offer, and there were a lot of things that were unavailable - the pool was closed, the two Western restaurants were closed, the bar was closed (and looked like it had never been open), and a lot of the eating places around the hotel were closed too. The hotel was very busy and noisy with all the families, and maintenance of the garden and outside areas of the hotel was not a priority at all - things were falling apart and they looked a mess. Having said all of this, it was nice to be able to walk on the beach and see the ocean. However, couples looking for a nice getaway where they can relax should look at going somewhere else.

GGeorgeThe hotel is conveniently located 10-15 minutes, on foot, to the High-Speed Nantong Railway Station. You can catch a train to Shanghai or as far north to Harbin from that Station. There is a nearby (5-10 minutes, on foot) bus stop where you can ride a bus to downtown Nantong, and to the Langshan Scenic Area (overlooking the Yangzte River; atop Langshan, is a well-maintained, Song Dynasty-era pagoda). It costs 2RMB per ride.
The hotel is brand new and located in a mix-residential and business area. Despite the proximity to local businesses and the Railway Station, it is very quiet at night.
The morning buffet is more than adequate. I particularly like their flat-rice noodles and their deep-fried red bean paste rolls.
The hotel staff, in particular, the kitchen staff, were friendly and helpful.

JJazzaThis is not our first time staying at the island. Itās also not our first time staying in a cabin. We keep coming back because of the fantastic service and friendly welcome inside the cabin. There is a fridge and a kettle. However, I do recommend bringing your own cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils if you plan to use the barbecue facilities. I also recommend that you take all the food that you wish to eat while youāre there with you as other than breakfast. There isnāt much choice in terms of vendors other than some drinks and snacks. There are plenty of things to do each day, some of which will cost you money, some are free. My family, particularly enjoy the big rainbow slide and the play park, which welcomes you with two big red windmills and a very friendly staff member. Overall a fantastic little getaway and somewhere I would definitely recommend for those who are outdoorsy.
