Rosastays Jeolikote Bara Bungalow

We loved our one day stay at the rosastays jeolikote. It’s a beautiful little place (just 6 rooms) with a colourful and a vibrant decor that takes you back in time. Offering a super cosy and a comfortable stay, situated away from the hustle bustle of Nainital (which was a pain this time), it’s a perfect boutique hotel for a quiet time with your family n friends. The staff takes very very good care of you and the food is cooked fresh. We opted for a kumaoni lunch. As there was a lot left, we had the same for dinner too (I loved this part). At 4 we had tea with some masala Maggie. We had a beautiful time and surely coming back for more. And yes if your heart beats for the furry ones then there are enough here to have a blast with . The pictures do not justify how cosy and charming the place is. If you are a sucker for decor and aesthetics Rosastays does not disappoint. The front desk staff starts checking in on you a day before and reach out to you on the day of the travel for any food orders and dietary preferences, I found this delightful. You are welcomed by some homemade mint lemonade which prepared you for a fabulous stay. The staff is super attentive and super helpful to all your questions and needs. Prepared everything as requested. The chef is gifted and accommodates all preferences. The staff is also remains availabyat your beck and call which I found most helpful as I was travelling with family. You are also welcomed with 3 adorable pups -Damroo, Whitey and Maira. The property is a run by Mrs of a retired Army officer and you see the charm in how the property is maintained. The lines are clean and very quaint. Definitely a great experience at Bara Bungalow, would love to visit again.

One of our best family trips so far away from hustle n bustle n pollution. It felt like a home away from our home.The place is awesome, full of greenery, one can see the stars n feel the breezy wind. Rooms were very cosy n neat. Food was delicious n Chef Lalit continued to impress us with his culinary skills. Mr Vinod was a fantastic, polite n hands on go to person for anything we wanted. Mr Roshan was very helpful too n polite. We had a lovely interaction with Mr Kamal, caretaker of this property who made sure tht our stay was comfortable n we were well taken over by the staff. We loved having breakfast outdoors n dinners inside the cosy, well lit sitting area. My daughter loved 3 dogs 🐕 there n played with them. Would highly recommend this property to everyone to explore enroute Naintal. Nainital is hardly 20- 25 min drive up the hills n as one stays here, u can enjoy the quietness n serenity. We saved lot of time spending actually entering Nainital into traffic. All the places like Bhimtal, Nauchikatal, Nainital, Kanchi Dham are well accessible from this place. Must recommend n best wishes to all for taking care of us so well !!!!

Excellent property for those visiting Nainital. Little away from the hustle bustle of Nainital and a very peaceful location. Great hospitality, good food , courteous staff members. Although not a very big property but the staff ensures you are being well taken care of. Chef Mr Lalit, Mr Vinod and Mr Kamal have made the stay very comfortable for us. Would recommend to surely check out if you plan to visit Nainital.

This place and property is serene and beautiful. Homely stay, homley treatment is the best I would take back from this place. Best kitchen and food that gives whatever curry you ask. 5 Star to chef and attendants running around to serve you like you are at home.

Truly one of the best experiences that we have had during our travel to Nainitaal . The stay at Bara Bungalow was made memorable with the best in class service by Raju Sharma . Besides the comfortable Stay we thoroughly relished the Food prepared by the Chef ( forgot his name) . Must try the local Cuisine scpecially curated by the chef . Overall The hospitality offered by the entire team was world Class . Special thank you to Lokesh for sharing the lovely insights on nainitaal & helping us arrange the entire travel in the city of Nainitaal. Also some delightful moments spent with the lovely Maya & Dumroo ( Pets ) who are always there to welcome you and drop back post ur Stay :) We will soon be back with our pet too as this is a pet friendly place .

Our family of 4 stayed at the property in april 2022 for 3 nights. The property is very beautiful. Food is cooked then and there, and is served hot and fresh according to need. The view of the valley while dining is superb. Plus the service is excellent, with mr. Raju sharma being extremely active and attentive to user needs. Whatever you need, be it medicine, tape, travel recommendations, house keeping, etc. Hes your guy. Im back home now and still having holiday blues! Definitely recommend.

Lovely rooms and view. Great food and staff that Pampers you to no end:) definitely made our stay a memorable one. The food was good and made as per our requirement and the staff ensured that everything was done promptly. The place is vey clean and well maintained .

We took a short trip to Bara Bungalow Jeolikote during Holi break and fell in love with the old world charm and beauty of the property!! Our 2 day trip got extended to 5 days because it was so refreshing, rejuvenating and quiet. Rooms were spacious, clean and with lovely decor and antique pieces; food was amazing throughout and Raju took excellent care of us with a personal touch and warmth that was more family-like than commercial....the added bonus were the pets Mara and Damroo who were adorable and so cute....my daughter fell in love with them!! The USP of Bara Bungalow is its distance from Nainital and its ambience....not too near and not too far and a serene view of the moutainside with its twinkling lights at night... I would highly recommend a visit to Bara Bungalow Jeolikote because we certainly plan to revisit :)
