GOLD STAY Nagoya Sakae

We were looking for a large room with 3 adults and 1 child, so we chose it because it seemed good. My child loved it so much because there were so many dolls. There is no phone in the room, so you have to use Alexa to call the front desk if you have any problems or questions, but I think it will be difficult for foreigners to stay. It would be better if you go with someone who is good at Japanese. The room was spacious and had a microwave, a toast machine, a coffee pot, and a coffee machine, so it was nice to just have toast and coffee in the morning and then go out. The refrigerator seems to be large for a Japanese size, and since it was recently built, it is clean. When returning to the hotel at night, be careful around your surroundings. The surrounding environment was bad. It's so noisy when you sleep that it's not good for people who are hard of hearing at night... But I walk 20,000 steps every day while I'm traveling, so I can't hear the noise when I sleep.

The hotel is very clean. The room is not too big or too small for urban areas in Japan. There are 4 beds that can be pushed together. The children loved the African-themed room so much that they asked to stay there for 7 days😂 The location is very convenient and there are many places to eat around. It takes 10 minutes to walk to a large shopping mall. I will stay in this hotel's ocean-themed room again next time.

The facilities and service were great. However, the location is not good because it is a backstreet with a lot of foreigners trying to sell you things and there is a lot of trouble at night. In fact, there was a Chinese person causing a quarrel and a disturbance on the day. It is better not to go out at night.

My family and I stayed here while sightseeing at the Port of Nagoya Aquarium and Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Garden. There were no rooms available at the zoo, so we reserved a room at the aquarium, but the kids were so happy as soon as they entered the room. There were plenty of places to eat and convenience stores around, so it was perfect. I would definitely like to stay in a room at the zoo next time. However, as it is a busy area, it was noisy until midnight, and when I went out in the morning after checking out, I was surprised by the garbage on the road. Food waste and cigarette butts were scattered around. I think it's good for playing with friends, but I felt it might not be suitable for families with children.

It was very clean and the service was very good. I think Gold Stay is a good option for staying with a large number of people.

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is quite big, and there are plush toys with marine elements on the bed, sofa and windowsill. The children like it very much! The bathroom is separated from dry and wet areas and does not affect each other. The location is not bad, not far from shopping, but there are many nightclubs around, and it is a bit noisy in the second half of the night.
