The hotel is located by Lake Biwa. You can enjoy the lake view while having breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but the food quality is good. The size of the room is on the small side. The hotel is located close to different attractions, which is very convenient! The staff is kind!

The hotel is located within walking distance of Nagahama Station and Kurokabe Square, which is further ahead. However, even though the hotel has a lake view, there are no places to stop by around the hotel. There are no restaurants or convenience stores. There are no shops inside the hotel, and the area around the reception is not very spacious, so it is not a very large building. The standard twin room was surprisingly spacious, with a mysterious space (?) that was large enough to even fit a sofa set. The only disappointment was that the washlet in the toilet was added later, so the toilet seat is not heated!

A spacious hotel facing Lake Biwa. There were hardly any people around, so the spaciousness was impressive. I walked from Nagahama Station, and although it was about a 10-minute walk from the station, there were only parking lots and fields, so it felt quite far away. It is very convenient that there is a boat terminal for Takeo Island right in front of the hotel, but this is the only boat terminal here. I made a reservation for dinner here, but there is nothing nearby, so I think it is safer to make a reservation in advance. However, I felt that the drinks were a little pricey.

I stayed there because it was on the north side of Lake Biwa and the view from the window was beautiful. The window wasn't facing Lake Biwa, so the view wasn't as good as I expected. However, the Italian dinner we had was very delicious and my parents liked it. There was a Jacuzzi in the bathroom on the top floor, and it was nice to soak in the hot water for the first time in a while.
