He didn’t have a badge on since we arrived at 2AM, but the Gentleman from Uganda at the front desk was extremely courteous and made the check-in process fun. Great hospitality and good vibes , had a wonderful stay , asked for a late checkout and Brij was kind enough to provide it until 4 pm due to a late flight ( that was literally the best part ). Breakfast was better than expected , and the staff was very courteous. Rooms were of good size , with a balcony ( which we couldn’t use due to the hot weather). Overall while there isn’t much in the city to explore , where the hotel is the saviour

Hotel looks nice on the outside but you’ll see lots of thing waiting for you. When we arrived in the hotel we see that the people who are working at reception were nice but doesn’t give the basic information about the hotel unless you ask lots of questions. Nothing was explained. Then we switched to our room by ourselves and found out there was a bottle of water which already had been used. Thankfully the Bellboy helped us and solved the problem, we appreciate him. He is the guy who saves receptions lack of information and lack of interest. After relaxing a little we decided to have some air at the restaurant area which is the only place that has open area. But no one cares what you asked or even doesn’t bother coming and asking you as if you’d like to have something. And that’s our first 30 minutes unfortunately. We booked for 3 nights and we’ll see what’s going to happen next. Maybe it’s just our experience.

Breakfast is good for taking children. The space is very comfortable. Compared to the narrow space of the hotel, the space here is simply too convenient to say that the location is super convenient and the largest mall in Oman. If you like to cook for yourself, you can buy ingredients in the Carrefour store. There is a separate parking lot at the door and there is a taxi for a long time, but the taxi must be told first. The price is strongly recommended for the whole family.

It’s really good to say that you can wash your clothes yourself. This time I found that there are pots and tableware for cooking. They are all available. I spend 4 nights in this hotel in the center of a capital city. There are exchanges, shops (with Omani typical sweets for example) and restaurants around the hotel. You will have nice view - you can see a Grand Sultan Mosque (especially at night). There is a terrace on the top of the hotel with a swimming pool. Hotel is really beautiful with nice interior. Rooms are clean, big and with nice furniture (like in a fairytale about princess Scheherazade). Hotel staff is very kind and professional. There is no problem they can´t solve. They can speak english very well. Food is delicious, continental breakfast and dinner a la card. I can highly recommend this hotel :)

We stayed in triple room for a night here. 6 was well-sized for us, but there was literally no view. The window opened to the wall of the nearby building. There were also no slippers for the bathroom. We had to call twice and wait for nearly an hour for them to be delivered. The beds were comfy, and we had a nice night's sleep. The bathroom and the room were overall clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent for this hotel. There were good options to cater everyone's needs. However, what happened in the breakfast room was totally indecent and inhumane. An Omani, who seemed to be the owner or manager of the hotel, physically attacked an employee and shouted bitter words at him, threatening him with his words . The employee was gentle enough not to react, but the Omani's attitude, shouting, and bad words ruined everybody's breakfast in the room.

The Muscate Holiday Hotel was very good and especially its restaurant and buffet service. I must say the deserts were always varied and the fruit displayed in a very creative way. The entrance Hall and the reception area were too shiny for my personal taste, but contrasted with the bedrooms whose decoration was sober.

The location next to Panaroma Mall and Grand Mall is impeccable. There are Subway and coffee shops nearby. The hotel lobby is grand. There are many seats. Convenient to meet customers. The room was clean. new. Excellent service. The only drawback is that the meals are too expensive. (It's not too expensive, the hotel standards in Oman are like this. Breakfast is 6 Oman.) It's cheap to eat outside the hotel.
