The Divine Homestay

I stayed from 11-12-13 May, 2024. It was my 2nd Stay here. As usual, it was a fantastic short vacation This homestay is the best place to stay when in murud janjira. All the cottages are beach front with direct access from the campus to private beach. Cottages are small but cosy and peaceful. Mini fridge, AC, hot kettle, large bathroom, TV, all basic things available in the cottage. Main USP is sitting in front of the cottage. They have provided 2 relaxing beach beds in front of each cottage with a large foldable umbrella on it. You can lay lazy whole day in front of the beach. They have lawn full of greenery and ***y trees. Inhouse kitchen is very active. They have limited items but each n every dish they prepare is super tasty. Staff is highly courteous and helpfull. It was my 2 nd stay here but will go again n again. 1 night stay is very short for such place, you need atleast 2 nights stay to enjoy the vibes of the property. They have swings, hammocks, badminton, cricket, volleyball, etc in the campus. THEY DO NOT HAVE SWIMMING POOL. but nevertheless, you can go to the SEA which is in front of your cottage. 1 small thing need to mention that they have taps and showers outside the beach entry gate so that you can clean yourself while comming back from the beach so as to keep the campus clean. Else, nothing more to say. It's amazing place. Don't go anywhere else in murud janjira, just visit DIVINE HOMESTAY... I am sure you will visit again.

We had the most wonderful experience during our stay of 3 days at the cottages, which are right on the beach. The facilities are very well maintained and the staff very efficient and courteous. The food is very homely, hygienic and the best in town and reasonably priced. They also give home to stray dogs. We found one which became friendly with us and would follow us on the beach. They have good open space with other play facilities too . Recommend this for a quiet vacation, moreso if you can go during mid-week. This is a in-house review. Very nice and cooperative and helping staff. Compact sea view cottages . Good rooms and value for money. In front of each cottages , you can lie down on the chairs and view the sea and experience the breeze.The property is bang on the beach. Small walking area and lawn and play area for the children. Linen is good and hygienic.And great ambience when lighted up in the night. I strongly recommend this property.Food is good.

Had a very relaxed break at The Divine Home Stay , Murud Maharashtra, located bang on the beach. Three of us couples booked the Suite on the First floor of the Gr + 2 Home stay ( they also have 7 wooden self- contained cottages in the same compound).Each of the self contained rooms were well appointed and clean, and had a clear view of the sea. The Pantry was large but who would like to cook , when the home stay had a central kitchen which could cook up delicious dishes for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Of course, advance intimation to the chefs brought out the best in them.

We had visited 15-17th April and had an amazing time at the homestay. The staff was courteous, food was delicious and freshly prepared (this had to be ordered well in advance) but the best part was the location and access to the beach . I want to specially thank the staff which helped with room delivery of food for my toddler and elderly in laws on special request ( they typically don't do room service) We had stayed in the sea facing apartment which was clean and well kept with a beautiful view. A couple of minor improvements - the grass near the play area was very overgrown and could be better maintained for kids to play. Also both days on reaching there was no one to answer the gate after multiple honking also ( it is a very thin road so there was a minor jam by the time gate opened) Of course these are very minor areas of improvement and our experience overall was very good. Definitely recommend for a nice peaceful getaway with friends and family.
