Very nice hotel with lots of good activities. The food was good and the hotel itself very nice. The only comments I would make was the service was pretty terrible in the bar and lounge area, slow not too friendly and I had to ask 3 times where my order was, no real apology. The spa is nice but the pool area very dated.

It is a wonderful place and so relaxing and the energy is wonderful. All the staff are so lovely and helpful making the stay even better.

The staff - every one of them - were unbelievably friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
We’ve stayed at Bovey before so know how breathtaking, beautiful and serene it is -oozing with charm and class. But it is the staff who make stays memorable,
The receptionists, waiting staff - everyone contributed hugely to an enjoyable stay. The food was good and despite almost continuous rain - we throughly enjoyed our stay,

The room was large and spacious but we regretted the state of the bathroom ceiling which was peeling.

There is plenty of space to relax at Bovey, from numerous lounges, seating areas, a bar, two terraces, and two restaurants. There is a lovely spa and a large swimming pool with a jacuzzi one end and a sauna.
All staff were happy and polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had no long wait times for our food (we ate in both restaurants) and waiters regularly attended the terrace areas to take drink/food orders, though you can order directly from the bar if you wish.
We have stayed at Bovey several times and enjoyed each occasion and will be returning.

What an amazing place to stay. Every staff member we went was friendly and helpful. The food in both restaurants was fabulous. Very romantic place. Highly recommend.
