The indirect lighting under the TV keeps flickering and is too dim when turned off
There are no spare toothbrushes or lotions, so I simply bring my own.
Although the room description does not mention that there is a bathtub, the photo does, so you may need to adjust the photo.
The soundproofing is very poor. There is the sound of fire trucks at night, and the sound of children running in the corridor early in the day. It's hard to avoid...
But the room is quite big, and the bath towels, toiletries, and TV are all of a certain level.
Also very close to the subway station

We stayed at Hotel Zero 1 for the Just For Laughs Festival originally for 4 nights which turned into 5 when our flight was canceled. The hotel is located perfectly whether you are going shopping along St Catherine's, doing the JFL Festival or hitting the Old Port water front. All is in close walking distance.
The hotel is very clean and seems to be recently renovated. We stayed in a loft room #1113.
Everything is good however the shower could be a bit larger (felt like we were in Europe) with more water pressure. Contrary to other reviews there is no issue with hot water.
The only negative I would say is the bed, it is supposed to be a queen (although the room is large and can accommodate a king bed) but it is smaller than a traditional 'north American' queen size bed. Feels more like a double which is more in line with a euro queen. The bed was not very comfortable but after the 4th night sleep we were finally getting used to it.
The housekeeping and front desk staff are very nice.
We will consider staying here again upon our next visit to Montreal mainly based on its location to everything .

The room was clean and the service was good. One of the balcony locks was broken. The worst thing was the mattress. It made a ”squeak, squeak” sound when I slept. When I woke up the next day, my waist was aching. It should be that the mattress was broken. I changed a new mattress the next day and it was quieter.

My partner and I took a spontaneous trip and were looking essentially for somewhere to crash as we came and went. For the price, Travelodge does the job. I read complaints that the rooms were “too small” but for a couple, we found that we did not need more space than we got. It was not spacious by any means, but we weren’t cramped either. The location is great, Chinatown is right down the road (with great food and places to check out) and there is good nightlife within a 5-10 minute walk. For our demographic, this was a great place to stay. One thing that my partner minded (but I didn’t) was that the breakfast available was only cold, and mostly prepackaged. There were no scrambled eggs, protein, etc. and while it held me over for a few hours, my partner is more picky than I am. We ended up not utilizing our second (included) breakfast and went elsewhere. If you’re looking for a good budget hotel, this will likely not disappoint.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Montreal Downtown. The hotel was confidently located in Chinatown meaning there were a lot of tasty restaurant options nearby. The room was comfortable and the gym had a good range of equipment available. I liked the breakfast buffet spread, particularly the waffle machine which I thought was a nice touch. I would have liked the chance to practice a bit more French with staff as opposed to switching to English immediately but I appreciated their professionalism.

The hotel is right next to China town and the old part of Montreal with plenty of heritage architecture . The Place D’Armes subway station is across the street and the metro line will take you directly to Bonaventure (central railway station) . The biggest asset of the hotel is its staff: accommodating, helpful, smiling and extremely efficient!

The room was OK. I asked the front desk for a high floor, and it was arranged promptly. It was very convenient in downtown, and I could walk to the French restaurant I booked. The parking fee was very expensive, more than $40 a night (tax included)! The swimming pool was quite comfortable, although not big, and the pillows were a bit low. After all, it was in the French district, so there were no Indian guys at the front desk, perfect! Otherwise, I would have to pay more attention to whether my credit card was double changed. Although I can choose other platforms to book hotels abroad, I still have to support Ctrip.

The room is big enough, with bedroom area, office area, and washing area, but the air conditioner is too old and makes a loud noise when it is turned on.
The breakfast is OK, with a rich selection of staple food and drinks, but no vegetables.
The location is very good. It is very convenient to cross a small road when attending a meeting at the Montreal Convention Center. It is also about a 15-minute walk to the station by bus 747 to the airport. For Montreal, which often snows heavily in winter, the travel pressure is not a little bit reduced.

There is no breakfast on the front desk floor. You can order a semi-buffet for 29.9 Canadian dollars. You can squeeze the orange juice yourself (you don’t have to doubt the freshness). It is worth recommending that the front desk is very patient. The room that was arranged at the beginning was very dark. Said that the line of sight is not good and uncomfortable, and then waited for three minutes to change to No. 1608 with a good line of sight, which happened to be able to see the scenic spot No. 67. The room is really big, the toiletries are very good, and there are no slippers in foreign countries. Everyone Prepare yourself in advance, the overall evaluation is really super comfortable.

Outstanding
GGuest UserBefore Montreal, I have stayed at FS Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Dubai, San Francisco, Macau, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Sydney, Beijing.. This one was by far the worst four seasons I ever stayed even tho the room was amazing with modern design and highly automated. Let alone the extremely bad experience when I checked in which I could write 2000 words about, they even can’t supply enough hot water.. it’s just warm or u could even say it cold as u got your AC on in your room. And they put under construction post near my room idk if it’s because of the argument while checking in then they coming at me, I wish not. I could’ve reported the whole situation to four seasons official email , Instagram, Facebook, Google review etc but I chose to forgive.
GGuest UserThe location and staff of the hotel were great, but the facilities were very outdated. It was disappointing that when I looked out of the window, I could only see the wall, and as soon as I opened the door, the bed was right there, which was regrettable.
Due to the fact that there are three hotels with the same name in downtown, it is important to double-check the address and make sure you find the correct one.
GGuest UserOverall, it’s a really nice place to stay. Although the room is a little small, it was clean and the staffs were very friendly. The location of the hotel is extremely good that you can get to the Notre-Dame Basilica on foot, and it’s near to both green and orange metro lines.
AAuGinaCustomer service wasn’t the greatest but the room is spacious and modern. The complimentary breakfast was good with limited selection. The location of the hotel is convenient but do have to be more cautious when walking during the night time.
VVon von123**Location and Accessibility:**
Hotel Bonaventure Montreal is conveniently located opposite Gare de Centrale. For those with luggage, it's best to exit Gare de Centrale through the Place Bonaventure exit and cross the street to reach the hotel driveway. While going underground is an option, it involves numerous escalators and stairs, and the distance is longer than walking on the ground.
**Metro Access:**
Contrary to what some might assume, Metro Bonaventure is not right underneath the hotel. You need to walk about 300-500 meters underground to reach the metro station, so plan accordingly.
**Room Tips:**
If you want to minimize walking, request a room closer to the reception. The hotel is spread across two floors and covers a wide area. Our room was far from the reception, requiring a long walk after a tiring day.
**Amenities:**
The hotel's pool is popular and often crowded, but the fountain with ducks on the 10th floor adds a charming touch. However, no water is provided in the rooms or at the reception. We had to fill our water bottles at Gare de Centrale.
**WiFi:**
The WiFi connection was excellent and fast, making it easy to stay connected.
Overall, Hotel Bonaventure Montreal offers a pleasant stay with convenient access to transportation and charming amenities, but be prepared for some walking and bring your own water supply.
LlynnBreakfast is average, but it is still very convenient and cost-effective. The hotel is a few kilometers from the airport, you can see the plane taking off, the children like it. The hotel has a car park and there is also a free bus airport transfer.
JJoyful SoloI recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.
The experience was mixed. The room itself looked quite old, with dirt on the walls, a broken curtain that couldn't be opened, and no door for the shower area. There were no basic amenities like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers. The walls seemed very thin; I could hear the neighboring room’s sneezes and even the sound of their toilet flushing as if it were in my own room.
On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. There's a cozy coffee and tea station by the lobby.
The breakfast was decent, with both hot items and a continental selection.
Overall, it’s reasonable for the price. With this room rate, we get what we pay for.
GGuest UserLocation is a little far from Old Montreal and the nearby has a lot of construction works which made driving a little problematic but I supposed that is temporary. Ample parking lost. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Overall satisfied with the stay except it doesn't provide breakfast and we had to order room service. Food is tasty
GGuest UserThe location of this establishment was great, you were within a very short drive/walk to the old downtown of Montreal. The place itself I would classify it as a high class motel rather than an hotel in my opinion. The two queen beds we had were great and clean and so was the washroom. The room could have been tidied up a bit more but overall was okay. The hotel does not have room service. Breakfast was included for our stay and it was your standard breakfast, but it was good and you could not go wrong with it. The parking lot unfortunately was very costly, $46 per night and the space was super tight, if you are driving a minivan or a truck, you will definitely have a harder time parking. Overall it's a decent place, if location is all that matters and you are willing to sacrifice a little bit on the service then this place is good for you.
ZZhangThis is my second time staying at this hotel. My first-time experience was fantastic, great location and very convenient, surrounded by restaurants and stores, nearby metro station, walking distance to hospital. The room ”looks” clean and tidy on the first sight.
All the great things aside, the second stay was the most horrifying night I have ever stayed in a hotel.
BED BUGS!!!!
Unbelievable bed bugs were literally crawling on my bed. In the middle of the night, we had to change our rooms and couldn't sleep with the fear of getting bitten.
Highly recommended if not the bed bugs.
