The hotel has a central location in downtown. Close to the river and many restaurants. I arrived to an attentive valet who walked me to the desk that allowed for an expedient check in from a clerk that was very personable but not too chatty. The dolls behind the desk are a bit creepy, but that is the only bad thing I would say about the hotel. The room is well appointed and I was fortunate to get a view of the river. The breakfast was satisfying the next morning as well. Every person I encountered was friendly and accommodating.

This is an older Embassy Suites. The staff at checkin was pleasant and nice. The atrium looks nice. The rooms are old and dated. Also it was the end of summer and it was really warm outside. The AC in the room had trouble keeping up and so it wasn't real fun to sleep in a hot room as it faced the east as the sun was coming up. Breakfast was fine and was up to the normal Embassy Suites standard, although it took the staff a bit to restock things on the buffet. Was curious was there wasn't any gravy for the biscuits, I mean Montgomery is in the deep south I figured that's a must. Would probably not stay here if I was paying, again the staff was perfectly nice, but the rooms were tired. Parking was ok for the most part, but Saturday night there wasn't any and I had to park in the last spot in the service entrance lot of the hotel. Was really irritating not being able to enter the hotel with my room key from the back of the hotel or the side of the hotel, so I had to walk all the way around to the front.

I stayed here for a week to attend a meeting in Montgomery. The staff was exceptional. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly. The room was wonderful. Very, very quiet. I never heard any of my neighbors or any traffic in the hallway. This has to be one of the quietest rooms I've ever stayed in, anywhere. It was clean upon arrival, and there were no weird smells or other oddities. One ding that made the stay much less bearable was the ”smart” thermostat. Kudos to the chain for wanting to do something green and eco friendly, but seriously? Putting a smart thermostat in the living room? During the night, regardless of how you set it, it will go back to ”away” mode. And of course, if you put it in the bedroom, it won't notice traffic in the living room. I enjoy sleeping in a cooler room, like 67 or so. Going to bed with the thermostat set to that and waking up to 73 was not enjoyable in the least. Once I figured out the trick, if I had to get up for a midnight run to the john, I'd give the thermostat some ”activity” and all was good then. I enjoy having the fan running all night for white noise. The HVAC had this ability, but it was so quiet, it wasn't really worth it. Not a big deal though, since the room was pretty darn quiet overall. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Never ran out, never had low pressure. The pillows were all super soft. I'm seeing a trend with this. Seems like every stay I've had recently in hotels has featured soft pillows. Attention, hotel chains! Some of us like a firmer pillow. Mix it up maybe? With 4 pillows on the bed, maybe make 2 soft and two a bit more on the firm side? Plenty of outlets including USB ports, too. Super nice touch there. Since this was a Homewood Suites, there was a full sized fridge/freezer in the room, along with a microwave, stove, dishwasher, and kitchen sink. A set of utensils, plates, and glasses were also available. If you were staying here long term, you wouldn't have to go out to eat every night. The breakfast was good, no complaints there at all. The hotel has an outdoor pool, gym, and there are printers available. There's also a little barbecue area near the pool and an outside fireplace that appeared to be gas. One of the elevators needed a little maintenance, as the floor was damaged and needed to be replaced. There was also some minor repair needed in my room, with a towel hook falling off the wall and a leaking faucet in the tub/shower. There are definitely plenty of places to eat nearby. For longer term stays, shopping spots as well. Overall, the say was quite pleasant. I'd stay here again anytime.

SSmithFor that price and they way the hotel is GO RUN AND BOOK A ROOM !!!! I loved everything about the room very very clean very comfortable i didn’t want to leave
A very assessable location situated just off the Interstate, about a 15 minute drive to Downtown and state capitol. Plenty of parking, rooms comfortable, clean and spacious, good choice breakfast included. Staff very helpful and informative.
马马Very clean, the service is attentive and thoughtful—when you arrive at the hotel, you will be informed of the details, using the car, using the car, very satisfied, the service attitude is very good, very satisfied—accommodation, next time I recommend friends
The location for this hotel is convenient to the highway and near stores but that’s it ! Good hospitality at the front desk ! The neighborhood where this hotel is located is not desirable at all !! I had to sign at least 4 different documents about non refundable deposits and apt searches for people staying there I said I never checked into a hotel with all these papers I had to sign . I asked” Do people live here” ? I was told by the front desk that people do live there for several months or more. Upon arriving to my building it looked like an apartment complex that needed a good power wash and some landscaping .Most of those hotels in that area are similar with full time residents . If I would’ve known I definitely wouldn’t have booked !! When I entered the room it was clean with a full kitchen ! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom needs to be updated ! My major issue was the area where it is !! Nope I wouldn’t stay there again !
After coming out of hospital from an auto accident I spent 2 days at the Fairfield. This is one of the best places I have stayed. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially given the pain I was in. The premises were pristine clean and comfortable and they saw to my every need. Best of all was Jane, the lady who looks after the breakfast bar. What a delight she is to talk to, if you need a lift, she's the one to give it to you. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, they earn every one.
Our AC went out and the temperature was in the upper 90’s so we needed a place for the night. We chose the Microtel. Nice and cool. The room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Phone charger for each bed. There was a desk with comfortable chair.
It started woth a 30 minute check in because the computers are circa 1992 and struggling with the windows XP update. It was some of the best service you will ever get (it really was amazingly friendly. Almost too friendly. Almost a declaration that this would be the last moment of peace I would ever experience in this life. but I digress) It took thirty minutes because the card reader thingy isn’t working very well. In that moment I should have known; but I didn’t. He pointed me to a well-oiled, somewhat dented and clearly broken-in historically registered elevator and said-“that way to the second floor sir!” (How did he know I was in the military? What a nice guy). I entered the hollow metal death tube eerily reminiscent to Disney’s epic Tower of Terror and I thought “Hold on man-you can do this. It’s a good thing you’re not claustrophobic.” This would be the last rational thought I would have for 12 to 72 hours. I hit the button and stood up straight—to the penthouse here I come! That’s when the power went out. My friendly attendant called out, “Just a moment sir, I know just what to do.” With delicate ease he placed the fireman’s call key into the slot and the power came on. “Just hit floor number two sir!” I would like to tell you that in that moment I had presence of mind to leave that hotel elevator taking my chances on the contractor’s garbage laden stairs; but I didn’t. No, I proudly punched that button and whiz pop it hurtled towards the skies…for about six inches. Then the power went out. He started resetting as I repeated pushed the exceptionally loud elevator buzzer (who hasn’t wanted to do that?) and yelled out, “Somebody call 9-1-1.” ( I did it loud and with intensity and just short of those words I’m not allowed to use without quarters for the jar.) BUZZ HELP! BUZZ HELP BUZZ HELP! I think I may have heard panic and a little crying from the other side of the door. (Sometimes at night I can still hear the crying). Over the top? Yes. But when I stopped the buzzing an eerie silence hung heavy in the air and I heard a heard a faint, “So I should call the Fire Department then?” (He was on the line with his GM.) I responded with “Great! Better call him in too!” Now I know what you must be wondering, did I remember the wisdom of Dwight Shrute and establish a hygiene corner? The answer is yes, but thankfully I was too busy writing fan mail to my new friends at Choice Hotels corporate to use it. They haven’t responded to me yet and I really really want to get one of those yard skeletons left over from Halloween and leave it between the floors with a copy of my note: “Please send help, I’m stuck in an elevator at Comfort Inn in Montgomery Alabama. Running out of ai…” (But I digress). It was about that time I heard the distant sounds of sirens drawing near. (Good thing it was a slow night for fires in the capital city.) My fearless heroes called out to me from beyond the door. “Are you claust
GGuest UserThe location was close to the airport and it had everything that is needed and a nice dining area. Just beware that taking a taxi from DIA to the hotel will cost about $30-35.
杨杨Opened by Indians, the facilities are average, next to the road, slightly noisy, parking is free and you can park at the door of the room, breakfast is average, standard motel but the name is inn. The biggest advantage is low price, suitable for overnight stays.
