The ventilation window of the bathroom is directly connected to the outside. When the light is turned on at night, mosquitoes will fly in and small geckos will crawl in. The room may have a smell because it is too humid. However, the hotel service is very good. We went to Safari the next morning because the off-road vehicle was stuck in a mud pit and delayed time. We returned to the hotel late. The hotel also called to ask if we needed to save our breakfast.

Warm welcome from the team. Room spacious clean . Great views. Could see monkeys lake and wide range of birds from balcony. Eve meal and breakfast variety of different local and continental. Our visit to the facility with our Australian group was nothing short of extraordinary! We were thrilled to enjoy five amazing rooms, perfectly situated just steps away from the sanctuary. The hospitality was off the charts—every moment felt carefully curated and incredibly attentive. Every meal was a delightful. The amenities truly blew us away, and everything was incredibly accessible, making our stay even more enjoyable. While the gym could use a little upgrade, it barely dented the excitement of our experience. From the instant we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere wrapped around us like a warm hug, continuing all the way to our check-out. It was an unforgettable experience bursting with warmth and exhilaration!

I could not believe this . We booked this hotel via their website , got a confirmation number a further email looking forward to us arriving and then a few hours later a further email saying their website is wrong and they have no availability 😡. The website even had all categories of rooms free! So don’t believe it definitely booked and available until you get there.

A wasted opportunity from our perspective; amazing location for visiting the surrounding national park and Elephant Transit Centre, with nice clean spacious rooms. The food and service, however, were disappointing. Lunch was in a conference room as there was a wedding reception taking place, the food was poor and buffet items were luke warm. Evening buffet and breakfast were equally substandard. We did an 8 night tour of Sri Lanka staying in 6 different hotels and this, sadly, was our only negative experience. It has potential to be a great place to stay but does need a management shake up.

Awesome View, Clean Rooms, Delicious foods and friendly and attentive staff.. Best place to stay if you are visiting Udawalawa. Very calm location and they are having lot of vegetarian , Gluten free and vegan option also. Not enough 5 statrs
