Ondanks wij bij de boeking “ Rustige kamer” hadden opgegeven, kregen we een kamer op de 1e verdieping aan de straatkant. De kamer was netjes en ge-restyled, zo ook de badkamer, maar heeft geen airco en ook een ventilator ontbreekt. Gelukkig bevond de kamer zich op de Noordzijde en konden voor het slapen gaan het raam openen om op een warme dagen die wij hadden, geheel open zetten, maar om te slapen moesten ze wel dicht ivm het vele verkeer wat er langs komt. Helaas ontbreekt er een koelkastje om iets gekoeld op de warme kamer te bewaren. Het ontbijt buffet is redelijk goed, mede door de vers geperste sinaasappels. Het diner was op de eerste in buffetvorm en start officieel om 18:00u. Echter om die tijd was de eetzaal al behoorlijk gevuld, maar niet met eten. Om ca. 18:15 kreeg iedereen eerst soep ( of je wilde of niet) en pas toen iedereen die op had, werd het buffet gevuld en geopend. Men kon kiezen tussen schnitzel of een beenhammetje ( die lekker smaakte en mals was) en div. bijlagen. Het dessert liet even op zich wachten, maar die avond lekker gegeten. De 2 e avond was een ramp. Geen buffet, maar keuze tussen een hamburger of vis . Omdat wij trek hadden waren we als een van de eersten al om 18:05 aanwezig . Om eindelijk 18:25u kregen wij de soep, maar niet als eersten, sommigen hadden deze al op. De hoofdmaaltijd liet helemaal op zich wachten en zelfs degenen die later binnen waren gekomen kregen veel eerder eten en waren vaak al klaar terwijl anderen , die tegelijk met ons aan tafel waren gegaan! Toen wij zagen dat bijna iedereen al at of had gegeten, ben ik naar een van de restaurantmedewerkers gegaan om mijn beklag te doen. Eindelijk om 19:30u ( dus anderhalf uur nadat we aan tafel aanschoven) kwam ons eten. Inmiddels was onze honger voorbij en dat was maar goed ook, want de hamburger kreeg mijn vrouw niet eens gesneden….zo taai als een schoenzool , die van mij was niet anders, maar heb iets meer kracht om er doorheen te zagen. Maar na een halve burger verging mij te trek, zelfs in de slechtste snackbar niet eerder zo slecht gegeten en mede doordat de temperatuur in de niet gekoelde eetzaal, snel naar buiten gevlucht……. Een Gasthof zonder sterren presteert in het algemeen (veel) beter dan dit hotel

We stayed here for one night whle on a cycling tour of the area. We were met very professionally and were shown where we could store our bikes for the night, they have a garage with bike tools, pump and electric sockets for ebikes. The room was of an average size with a large bathroom but everything was of the higest quality, in the hallway is a choice of free plain or sparking water. The Breakfast was very good and the best of the hotels on our tour! The only very petty complaint was that they did not have a blended breakfast tea. I would saty here again for sure.

We recently stayed here for one night. If you arrive after 18:30 on a weekday or after 13:00 on weekends, you have to use the machine to check in. Easy enough, but seems odd there is no one to contact in case of issues like noisy neighbors, etc . For example, we wanted to use the EV charger, but couldn't. I also thought it was incredibly cheap that the bill included surcharges of 1 Euro for internet and 2 Euros for parking. The restaurant was also closed although the web site does not say this. The room was beautiful, but noisy. Be aware also that the hotel is not a ”few steps” from the old central area, it is more like 10-15 minutes depending on destination and your walking speed. It is quite close to the railway station though.

The old backhouse itself is at the old market, our apartment was on the Apostle street. We didn't find it bad. Also this was once an old workshop house, but unfortunately only inside can you think something. The staircase and the façade are, unfortunately, everything other than stylish, that should be rebuilt. Our apartment (for 3 people) was in the top roof and very nice. It leads up a space-saving stair, so it's nothing for everyone, maximum a small bag comes up. For us it was easy, we know such a stair. In the apartment you can still understand the professional history. That's very nice. However, a stage goes completely through the apt. Maybe a tube is down there or a steel load for stability? That makes it a little complicated to move. The double bed was comfortable, only the view of the TV was very far away. We would also put the bed in the corner towards the TV and perhaps put another small sofa where the bed is now standing. The seats around the breakfast table were comfortable and hygienic as they were also leather or leather of art. Everything was good. The third bed looked very comfortable, but you must not be very big to be able to crawl there. The bathroom was large and had a window. Super! Unfortunately, you could have designed the bathroom so that a shower and bathtub had fit into it. At present you need to crack into the bathtub and the shower separation discs (plastic) are already quite down. It is not so easy to position them correctly. The kitchen is spacious and is perfectly enough, but the equipment is moderate: 1. There is no washing machine (!). As I could ignore this, I am a mystery, I usually do not book apt. without a washing machine. It would also have a smooth place there, a small small would be perfect there. Without the washing machine you have the bad feeling that the predecessors may not have washed well and the dish is not clean. Since you had to wash your hand now, there was not even a dropper. 2. The cage still has the old cooking plates, i.e. neither ceramic nor induction, the front right of which does not work properly and only becomes lawful. However, it is nice that there is a oven and a microwave. 3. The wardrobe was not complete: there were no breakfast/cake plates, of the pasta/suppe plates there were only 2 yet, there were only 2 egg cups, no egg luffs, no salt stroke (except no salt, What can you expect) and no coffee cups. Although there were about 10 coffee cups from the restaurant, but who drinks there still coffee? So we picked up 2 coffee cups from the shop to the shop and left them there. Warning: The roof windows go back to the Irish pub and on weekend there is a party. It is extremely loud and you should both windows to the sl

Ein stark in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, in dem Schönheitsreparaturen den wirklichen Sanierungsbedarf mühsam zu überdecken versuchen. Schimmel an der bereits überstrichenen Decke im Bad sowie in den Fugen, weil die Lüftung nicht funktioniert. Die Duschkabine ist schmutzig und die Ecken voller Schwarzschimmel. Der Teppichboden (Treppe, Flur, Zimmer) ist abgewetzt und schadhaft. Im Zimmer noch Krümel vom vorigen Gast auf dem Boden und auch in der Toilette befanden sich noch Spuren des vorigen Gastes. Positiv ist, dass im Erdgeschoss, im Durchgang, auf einem Schrank einige Utensilien bereit gehalten werden, um sich ein Heißgetränk zubereiten zu können.

Liebe Britta, liebes Team der Antoniushütte, mein Mann und ich waren zu einem Wanderwochenende bei euch in Eisborn. Das Hotel ist eine optimale Ausgangslage, um Wanderungen jeglicher Art zu starten. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt, weil jede/r Mitarbeiter/in mit Spaß an der Arbeit ist. Und das merkt man direkt! Das Frühstück bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Tolle frische Produkte aus der Region haben uns für den Tag gestärkt. Nach unseren Wanderungen wurden wir im Restaurant Herrmann´s kulinarisch auf höchstem Niveau verzaubert. Besonders die Nachspeise mit dem lauwarmen Brownie war für uns eines der vielen Highlights. Wir können euch nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und macht weiter so. Freuen uns schon jetzt auf das nächste Mal.
