Tru by Hilton Mobile I-65 Government Blvd

Its fairly new, clean and well maintained. Beds are comfy. AC is great. Breakfast is above average for a free breakfast. Plenty of restaurants within a mile. Its a little secluded so its very quiet. Easy access to I 10 and I 65. Rooms have a mini fridge. Microwave and coffer maker are in the lobby. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is convenient on and off from I-10. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We did not eat the breakfast but most of areas to sit were blocked off. In the room there was one trash can, no coffee maker, and the USB port was only on one side of the bed. The bed reading light was also only on one side of the bed. The pillows were awful. We had to use both pillows because they would smash down to nothing when we laid on them. The bed was stiff and uncomfortable. It was raining when we arrived and there is no awning to park underneath. The receptionist said it rains at least one a week so beware if it's raining.

Solid choice for lodging. The hotel is clean. Place has a cool vibe. The staff is friendly and efficient. The bed was comfortable. The wifi was easy to connect and was reliable. They have a pretty decent "rescue munchies" selection. Breakfast was included and a very good buffet style service. They had a pool table for guests to use which was pretty cool. Water pressure was good and soap/shampoo was easily dispensed. Floors were vinyl.....so none of the nastiness of hotel carpeting. They provided an iron, ironing board, mini-fridge....no microwave or coffee maker. The hotel has a fitness center that is ok. There is plenty of free parking. There are shopping and restaurant options fairly close by. I would stay here again.

While staying at the Tru Mobile, I came early (1300) to check in and confirm my room, However I was meet with a very callous attitude and a demeanor that was not flexible at all to check in early. "Aundrae" "You have to return at 3pm." I had spoken to Debra the day before to confirm two adjoining rooms, which Aundrae could not find? it seemed to be a burden for him to take care of this. Throughout the stay this did not change. The one constant Aundrae's lack of professionalism. To my amazement while sitting in the Lobby at 1 pm "Aundrae" greeted airline personnel with a smile and actually checked them in early at 1 pm? I just heard him on the phone telling another patron that they could not be checked in until 230 pm ? Aundrae is a definite detriment to customer service at the Tru Mobile. On another note I was able to witness the ultimate professional, Unita. Unita was involved in training a new employee, Mia. Unita's detail to technical information, customer service and patient reassurance and redirection to Mia was amazing. Unita is definitely the epitome in customer service, Tru is lucky to have her, we were fortunate to meet her after the callous and insincere, treatment from Aundrae. Hopefully this is not Aundrae's baseline, and he was having a bad week. Maybe this note will get to the management for an improvement in customer service. Kudos to the breakfast staff, especially "1980" and the cleaning crew. Aundrae can learn from them if he is willing. Also a Diamond Member at least 90 hotel stays a year. Never acknowledge upon check in with Aundrae.

Great place to stay! My now wife and I went for our first date and we loved it! Location is easy to get to. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Restaurant was very nice for breakfast. Safe location too.

The Tru Hilton hotel in Mobile, Alabama, where my husband and I stayed is dirty, has damaged linen and furniture, toilet plush intermittently, and staff is unprofessional. It began when my requested first floor room was not ready during check-in because the front desk could not give a time when the maintenance person would be available. The hotel did try to resolve the issue and gave me another room down the hall on the same third floor. However, that room had the same problem as the previous room, toilet pressure was low and would not flush. I brought it back up to Kimberly, at the front desk so she could switch me back to my original room, due to there being no more rooms available. Therefore, my husband and I have to relieve ourselves in the public restroom on the first floor that does work. Then, the employee at the front desk told me the next morning that the assistant manager, Tyanna, told her to get me escorted off the premises by the police because there is a log showing I have been causing problems by simply asking when will maintenance be available to fix the toilet and for requesting clean towels from the front desk. There were several witnesses there that can verify that there was nothing warranting the police to be called. Even though the general manager, Friday, emailed me that she was unavailable until next week and to contact Tyanna, she has yet to do so about my above concerns after trying to contact her by email and phone. Tyanna is a terrible assistant manager who really does not want to work, causing the rest of the staff to have the same unprofessional attitude. All the employees stay glued to their cell phones, they do not answer the phone at the front desk, and/or eat while engaging with customers. This is unacceptable for the money you pay and needs to be addressed immediately. What a way to treat Disabled Veterans! There was no criminal altercation to warrant this level of escalation. We are currently still waiting for the General Manager, Friday, to contact us from Tru going on a week later after the incident, due to this hotel is independently owned and operated using the Hilton's name.

Welcoming, very clean, well maintained, very safe, in an area that is near Costco and is not busy, great breakfast, welcoming and friendly staff. I was traveling through and stopped for a night and was very pleased.

This hotel was very good for the price. The lobby was perfect since we were meeting up with family and there was plenty of room for the kids to play. There is no pool, but there was pool and other games. Dandreia checked us in and was friendly and so helpful. I would stay here again.

My two daughters and I stayed here for one night (July 3rd). The hotel was clean and the service was great from all staff from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the breakfast crew. Breakfast was your standard continental fare. This property is not too far from downtown Mobile (little less than 15 minute drive) and is conveniently located near the interstate. There are some restaurants and shopping nearby. We felt safe entering the hotel at night. We drove to Biloxi Beach for a few hours, and it was less than an hour away, easy drive. Although we didn’t utilize them, there was lots of seating in the lobby and games (including billiards). There was a filtered water refilling station that we used a few times.
