Parrot Resort Moalboal

The environment here is pretty good for the area, and the front desk staff, especially the female attendant, was nice. What I found a bit odd was when I checked in, the front desk told me the room I booked was for adults only and children weren't allowed. I asked why, and they said it was because they were worried my seven-year-old would be too noisy. After some discussion, they eventually let me check in. Later that evening, the music and bass from nearby bars were incredibly loud, going on past 10 PM. There were also some Caucasians yelling loudly by the pool. On top of that, the hotel's parrots started squawking early in the morning. Honestly, any of these noises were ten times louder than anything a child would say. I’d suggest the hotel not differentiate between adults and children but instead enforce a consistent noise policy for everyone.

I loved the hotel!!! The owner is very professional. From the first day of our stay, it was clear he's the kind of person who goes out of his way to help the staff so everything is top-notch and guests are comfortable. As I later discovered, he's Swiss. You'll love this hotel!!!

A very pleasant hotel with nice, clean rooms that stay cool. The air conditioning was turned off at night. The room was cleaned daily, and it smelled wonderfully of clean linens. Beautiful grounds, smoking allowed on the veranda, free short-distance shuttle service, and the option to book excursions. A parrot was also provided. Cons: sick dogs wandering around the grounds and pooping on the beautiful lawn. I was very dissatisfied with the organization of the excursion transfer. When we booked a canyoning trip with a private transfer, there was no driver waiting for us on the return trip. We had to call one and wait a very long time in the heat (people on a shared transfer had left much earlier). We were told the driver was taking other guests somewhere and we had to wait for him to take them and then come pick us up. We paid 5,000 pesos for the tour and private transfer for two (we could easily have found cheaper). The staff also asked if it was possible to add a neighbor from another room to ours (which was fine, we didn't mind). For that extra cost, they could have taken a more careful approach to transporting guests who were tired after canyoning. The tour itself and the guides were excellent.

A great place, really. Everything is thoughtfully designed, with unlimited drinking water, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, tea, and coffee. A minibar is available for an extra fee, along with toiletries. The room is clean, housekeeping is daily, and breakfast is always the same, but delicious. Fun birds liven up the grounds, though if you're a light sleeper, it can be noisy, with the birds in the morning and the neighbors at night. You can play tennis, foosball, or billiards. Masks and vests can be rented for 150 pesos. The location is great, everything is close by. I only have good impressions, I recommend it 👍

It's a good hotel, conveniently located, close to everything, yet quiet. There are, of course, insects in the room. And for some reason, the bathroom door has a vent, so the odors from there flow directly into the room.

The facilities are top-notch in Moalboal! The staff were a bit stiff, so it was very difficult to make requests.

A great hotel with its own grounds, an excellent, delicious restaurant, an aviary with parrots, a nice, illuminated pool, clean, fresh rooms, delicious-smelling, perfectly clean linens, a minibar in the room, a kettle, a stove, various goodies at a reasonable price, sunscreen is also available, the only thing missing is a locker for clothes, a good location, everything is close by, the staff is super, the breakfast is so-so, but you won't go hungry, you'll eat something)) the hotel leaves you wanting to return again!

Great location, the room has a cooler with hot and cold water, a sink, and tea and coffee making facilities. Very clean, beautiful grounds. The restaurant serves delicious food, with a varied menu.
