The Rescape

The resort is close to the airport and the access road is narrow, so it has an extraordinary and hideaway atmosphere. I was worried because there were many negative reviews, but there were no major issues. However, when I arrived at the room, there was a sewage smell. I think the water in the trap had evaporated. If they were more careful about this and managed the facilities, I think there would be fewer complaints. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the sofa seat cushions tend to slip out of place, which is frustrating. I hope they improve this. Prices fluctuate a lot, so I'll make a reservation at a reasonable price, and if possible, I'd like a better value for money. It's a shame that there are few food options.

We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included in the latter half of July. All three breakfasts had different menus, and on the last night we had shabu-shabu in our room.・There was a corner where you can make your own bath salts.・Meals Both meals were well thought out and made with local ingredients, and were very delicious. I think it would be good if the coffee and tea at breakfast could be improved a little. It would also be helpful if you could check the glasses and plates used during dinner in your room when you clean the room that day.・Room The room was very comfortable and the location of the air conditioner was well thought out. The bathtub in the room is even more comfortable with a bath pillow. The refrigerator wasn't very cold, the bed was a little soft, and there were always pests in the room, so I wish they would take measures to prevent this. It was especially bad having cockroaches on the floor every day. I think it can't be helped because it's a facility located in nature, but I feel quite depressed when I see cockroaches all the time.・Both the large pool and the pool in the room were comfortable. The goat shed seemed a little lonely.・The private beach was great. I think it would be best if you had a beach umbrella and beach chairs (the type you can lie down on).・Shop There were a lot of nice things and I wanted a lot of them, but I was disappointed that they didn't have my size. It was a nice corner to make bath salts.・Overview: The facilities and location are excellent. However, I felt that the staff did not have many smiles and there was a lack of communication between them. I actually told them that I wanted to clean the room in the afternoon, but when I left in the morning, the bed had been made, the sheets hadn't been changed, and the dishes hadn't been cleaned. . I asked the staff to clean it, but they just lowered the glass and did not refill it. There was no overall attention to detail, and the door for staff to enter and exit was always open and the backyard was visible. I felt like I didn't put any soul into making a Buddha. Also, I'm not sure if it's a resort for adults or families. I found it difficult because there were many families who didn't have common sense. (Especially at breakfast) It's a pity that there are a certain number of people even if you increase the price range. I would still be saved if I could see the staff's smiles. I'd like to go during a season other than summer vacation. I made a reservation through Ikkyu and posted a harsh review, but it didn't show up, so I posted it here.

コロナ禍の中の宮古島は当たり前ですが、閑散としてました。今回3つのホテル(シギラ　スイート　アラマンダ、ザ　リスケープ、シーウッドホテル)に泊まりましたが、レストランなど仕様の変更などもあり、規模の縮小か感じられました。本来の食事内容はわかりませんが、皆さん頑張っていました。リスケープさんは正に隠れ家的な大人の為のホテルでした。島の東側にポツンとあり、回りは丘や茂み(?)に囲まれていて全く外界から遮断されてます。部屋は全て海に面しているのですが、何故か海から見えないようにか、敢えて(?)茂みを刈らずに残し、窓からの景観は茂み！これは賛否が分かれそう。食事は大食いの私には足りませんが、クオリティは高くレストランの雰囲気もサービスの方もとても好感がもてます。リスケープさんの特徴は、3つの天然素材を使って自分で作る入浴剤と、冬でも入れたプライベートプールです。プールは深く、かなりヌルいですが、首まで浸かっていると、温泉に入っているよう。首まで浸かって壁に寄りかかって星をずーっと眺めてました。周りに何も無く、真っ暗なので星の鑑賞には最高です。ほぼプライベートのビーチのような広い砂浜があり(ただ流れ着いたゴミや、噴火の時の黒い軽石)はかなり景観を損ねてます)、家族で海水浴も良いですが、是非、ご夫婦やカップルで記念日で、こちらのホテルを利用を薦めます。ホテルから出ないでゆったり過ごすのに最適です。コロナが治まったら、また訪れたいホテルです。
