The Kanyo hotel staff went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. The view is spectacular and to see the sunrise from the outdoor hot springs was breathtaking. Dinner menu offered a great variety of the locally grown vegetables and the freshly caught sea foods.

The bath overlooking the bay was wonderful! But the damaged area immediately below the bath really needs to be cleaned up.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with delightful sea views.
It was frustrating that *******'s page represented that only breakfast was included at this hotel, but it turned out that both dinner and breakfast were included. We had eaten elsewhere before arriving, so our meals were wasted. ******* needs to correct its data (and, frankly, should compensate us for their error).

やはり海を眺めながらの露天風呂は最高です。部屋からもロビーからもその眺望がこころを癒してくれます。食事もとてもおいしく、夕食のアワビは少し小さめで残念でしたが量、質共満足。特に朝食には期待していなかったがご飯にとろろ、明太子、温泉*。納豆、なめこ、塩辛をぶっかけねばとろ丼にしてお代わりをしてしまいました。また震災遺構をめぐる語り部ツアーは語り部さんの説明に思わずもらい泣き、東北大震災は今更ながら大変なことだったんだと思い、防災に対する心構えをもう一度見直すきっかけとなりました。
