I was making a reservation at the Dylan in August, since my prior stay was excellent. However, as I was booking a standard room, my internet went down, causing me to go back and re-book. However, when I went back in the ”standard” room was no longer available only a ”deluxe” room was. I booked the Deluxe, since my prior experience here was outstanding. I immediately called the hotel and spoke with a representative and explained what happened. I was advised that a change would be made on my reservation to the ”standard” rate since there were standard rooms available. However, when I checked out the following day, I was charged the ”deluxe” rate. Since I had an early plane to catch and no one was at the desk in the lobby, I left my key on the counter and was going to contact them once I returned home. I tried to speak with a manager or owner of the Hotel but was continually denied. The representative said they would try to get me the lower rate as they had promised. End result, there was no movement by the management to refund me the difference. I did follow up with a letter to the Hotel, not expecting a response and have not since my letter dated September 1st. The one positive was the representative I was working with understood what providing ”outstanding” customer service is about as they tried in vain to get me the credit. End result, I will not be staying at the Dylan Hotel in the future, which is a shame, as it is a nice facility.

Very good hotel, delicious breakfast, no buffs, you can deduct 60 US dollars, you can take a walk, the service facilities are very new, I stayed there twice during transit, it was very nice

Checked in with Julia who was friendly enough. I had phoned earlier to say I would arrive around 930pm which I did. Room was spacious and the bed was fine. But the toilet seat was broken and the toilet was choked. I was not going downstairs again as I had an early flight, so I thought I would advise when I was checking out. I slept fairly well, and went downstairs to check out and get the 6am shuttle which did not arrive until 6.05 am. I had paid £134 for the night which was expensive for 8.5 hours but it was convenient for the airport and I wouldn’t have minded if the toilet had been ok, do the rooms not get checked before people arrive ? When I mentioned the toilet to the staff, the chap said to me “was it like that when you went in ???”Obviously I did not do it and I did not like the insinuation that I did ! Don’t think I would ever use this hotel again !

Thanks to other people's reviews, it gave me an experience and a very comfortable stay. As other reviews said, the problems with the airport shuttle, the direction of the hotel, the check-out time, and the lack of breakfast made me specifically determine the departure and arrival times, and I paid an extra $20 to buy it. Sea view room, bring your own breakfast, so the experience is very comfortable. Thanks to everyone who wrote a review! Let’s talk about the shuttle bus, which has a dedicated platform on the departure floor of each terminal. It’s best to email or call in advance to get the timetable. Only 100 meters away from this hotel is the Marriott, with frequent shuttles. As for the bad attitude of the front desk mentioned in the reviews, knocking on the door early to check out, I did not encounter this problem, maybe because I paid extra for a sea view room, and the deposit was refunded in a timely manner. If you are a flying enthusiast, this is a very good hotel for watching planes take off and land. Although it is very close to the airport, it is a pity that the trail cannot reach the airport (the last section is not allowed to go), and it is probably very dangerous to walk there.

Very very nicely freshly renovated hotel, very clean amazingly friendly helpful front desk personnel, excellent cleaning stuff did perfect job maintaining room and provided extra towels. Free parking in the hotel , plenty of restaurants , bakery and markets within walking distance , within minutes drive from San Francisco and right next to SFO airport . Area clean and safe not like some places within San Francisco. Also delicious coffee in the lobby.Highly recommended! Cons-No pool.

Awesome services and fantastic room with a great view at the water! Free breakfast and free parking are unheard of in the SF area but this hotel provides both. Loved our stay and will come again.

The hotel is very old, in fact, it is really not worth the price, but it seems that the nearby hotels are similar and there is no choice at night! The breakfast packaged by Ctrip is not a buffet but a set meal. It is OK and full! The parking fee is too expensive. Ctrip said it was 40 US dollars. When I checked in, the hotel told me it was 48. After arguing with the front desk staff, they actually gave me a discount of 36 USD! But when I was looking for the elevator, they told me to go down the hall and turn left. We searched for a long time but couldn’t find it. Later, they came and said front desk left. It felt like they deliberately pointed me to the wrong way. The first feeling was immediately bad! There is an uncle from Guangzhou who has been in San Francisco for more than 20 years in the restaurant. He is very nice and speaks Cantonese with us. He immediately speaks Cantonese to us! On the last day, Zaizai caught a cold and didn’t go downstairs for breakfast, but he packed breakfast for us. It was very heartwarming 👍There are also many sisters who speak Cantonese when they are cleaning on holiday. They are all very nice! The hotel airport shuttle bus is very convenient, every 15 minutes! Overall, it feels good!

The room was really nice and everything was clean. The hotel is in a good location. The lady at the front desk was really nice and even allowed me to check in early. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars on service is because I emailed in advance to get instructions on how to catch the airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but I never received a reply. Outside of that, everything was really good. I would stay here again.

This was an awesome experience. We were staying here as a Day Use hotel and I was a little nervous about if we would be treated as a nuisance since we were only staying a few hours. EVERYONE here was so kind and helpful and courteous! We had very clean and comfortable room for our six hour stay. We were able to nap, shower, and watch TV while waiting for our midnight flight. The restaurant food was high quality and the server was terrific, sorry I don't remember his name. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! If we are in San Francisco again, we will definitely stay here.

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport. It is not far from the Bridge and Stanford. It is next to the beach. The room is clean and quiet, but there is no small refrigerator. There is a service fee if breakfast is included. Parking is 20 dollars a night. Free bottle of water is only given on the first day. ah
