Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel and Executive Meeting Center

The hotel, especially the rooms, felt dated and the facilities weren't in good working order. Even the lobby sofa was broken. The shower in my room drained very slowly, and the air conditioning was quite noisy. There was only one small lamp for lighting in the entire room. On the nightstand, there was a phone that wasn't even plugged in and couldn't be used. Restaurant service was just okay; they got my order wrong and there was an error on the bill. The food quality was mediocre and didn't match the hotel's supposed caliber. To top it off, a single ice cream cone cost $6! The only pros were its proximity to the airport and the 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle. Both check-in and check-out were quick and convenient. I hope they can improve their facilities soon to protect the hotel's brand and reputation.

The shuttle service is super convenient, running about every 15 minutes. You just need to wave at the Sheraton shuttle when you see it at the pick-up point, and it'll stop for you. The hotel environment is excellent, and cleanliness is top-notch. It's perfect for a short stopover to rest.

Check-in and check-out were super fast. Luggage storage worked perfectly.

The only reason I picked this hotel was its proximity to the airport and the fact that it's one of the few with a 24-hour free airport shuttle. Most hotels in the US are overpriced and rundown; this one felt like an old cucumber trying to pass for fresh, but you can't hide its age. Overall, it was acceptable, definitely meeting a 3-star standard. I slept quite comfortably, and the soundproofing was good enough that I couldn't hear planes taking off or landing. There's a small shop in the lobby selling snacks and Starbucks coffee, which is convenient. Also, here’s a map to the airport shuttle after you arrive: once you grab your luggage, just cross the road to the hotel shuttle pick-up point and look for the bus with the Sheraton logo.

The bathtub was a nice touch, and the water temperature was perfect. They also provided a hairdryer, and the room service I ordered was delicious. For Miami, I think this hotel offers great value for money.

Overall, it was okay. The hotel was quite crowded, which is understandable for an airport hotel. The parking fee was very expensive, over $30 for a flat rate. The elevators were also very slow, and it seemed like only one or two were working.

The location is quite good, but the facilities are a bit dated, and the room isn't very spacious. Compared to the price, it doesn't seem like great value for money. However, hotel prices in the US have been high these past few years, so I'd recommend comparing a few different places.

The shuttle runs frequently, even at night. The location is literally 5 minutes from the airport. The bed is good. The air conditioning, as usual in the States, blasts cold air. The hotel overall feels a bit dated, although the furniture and carpets have been updated. But compared to other countries, it's definitely not competitive anymore. A downside is that there's no store or room service at night, and no cafes nearby. I had to go to sleep hungry. :(
