Family-friendly Hotels in Menghai

This has been such a wonderful stay! The hotel staff were so polite and friendly in every interaction. Dana, one of the receptionists, added me on WeChat at check-in and messaged to ask if there was anything we needed each day of our stay! (My Chinese speaking skills are not great.) The room was very clean and our balcony overlooked the pool. The breakfast buffet offered many options. The hot springs were very relaxing and there were many outdoor pools of varying temperatures, so it did not feel crowded at all. There's a wonderful 'park' about a five minute walk up the hill with a hiking trail that leads to the top of a hill/small mountain and offers a beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing. There are a number of hammocks and swings on the way to the viewpoint. There are also other places to walk, nice viewpoints, what looked to be an obstacle course, a pink sand area, and more at the 'park.' We chose to eat our dinners at nearby restaurants - there is one affordable lakefront restaurant about a fifteen minute walk down the hill that we liked a lot. The hotel has several golf carts that depart/arrive from the lobby entrance if you want them to take you to the hot springs or the restaurants area. You can call the hotel and they'll come pick you up as well. Although this hotel is not close to the main Xishuangbanna tourist attractions, it is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for fantastic service, beautiful facilities, and a relaxing trip. I would absolutely stay here again!

Everywhere is great! ! The homestay confirmed the location with me one day in advance. When I arrived, I introduced where to go for fun, where to eat, and reminded me that I could bring an extra set of clothes to take pictures. It was really kind. The room facilities are complete, the bedding and decoration are comparable to five-star hotels, and the price-performance ratio is comparable to that near Gaozhuang! The only downside is that there is little hot water, and it is a bit cold for washing. Haha, but Menghai Resort is really beautiful, if it is not in a hurry to return the car, I really want to stay for a few more days. I will live here again next time!

There are many handsome men and women every day It is also suitable for taking beautiful photos and drinking tea quietly. My wife and I especially like those tea rooms. The dishes in the restaurants show the character of the operators who pursue quality. The coffee and bar are also very modern, and the original simplicity and fashion quality are perfectly integrated , I have too much to say, I hope to leave it for everyone to experience it for myself, thank the boss and the proprietress for their warm and thoughtful service, and when I left, I brought four pieces of flower cakes made by the proprietress every day. The low sugar is really delicious, and I would like to thank the bar attendant Panpan's thoughtful service, and those children who tasted wine together.

The best part about this hotel was the absolutely spectacular view of the surrounding maintains and valley from the spacious minimalist room and huge terrace; the sunset was among the best I’ve seen in my travels. Another highlight was the food (an extra but reasonable charge) which was plentiful, local, fresh and delicious. Be forewarned that because of the hotel’s isolated location in the mountains (about 1.5 hours from the city), there are no local restaurants or shops, so stock up on any extras/supplies before you arrive (coffee, wine, snacks included). I understand that the owners (who are very hands off) are in the tea business and have a plantation nearby, but unfortunately (perhaps due to the language difference), I wasn’t given any information about this so did not get to experience a tour. One thing that could be improved is the wifi, which was slow but adequate. I ended up extending my stay by 3 nights and spent most of my days reading on the terrace. I would recommend this inn to people looking for a quiet nature getaway.
