Stayed here for three nights in April. Front desk decided it was more important to be scrolling thru her cell phone than check me in. Also had trouble wanting to purchase items from the snack area, so I just gave up. Restaurant staff was rude to just about every customer I witnessed come in and it wasn't like they were slammed the night I ate there. If you're not there early in the evening good luck finding a parking spot that is convenient. The back lot is a chore if you have luggage, no paved ramp to roll it to the door. Rooms need a refresh, furniture is old and tired as are the hallways. Hotel hosted some event with lots of teenagers on the weekend I was there. Was difficult getting to sleep with all the noise downstairs.

I had an amazing experience with receiving stellar customer service from Frederick. This young man help me navigate through a mix up with the company and he never lost his patience while we were going back-and-forth to get to where the error had occurred. I know to some, it may appear that he was just doing his job. But compared to many horrible customer service experiences I can honestly that Fredrick operates in a spirit of excellence and I benefited from that.

We were exceptionally pleased with the service we received here. At check-in, we were greeted as Platinum Elite members and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we received Platinum benefits. There is a charge for valet parking, but the cost was a bargain, for the service. We ordered room service for dinner, for which there is an additional charge, but it was well worth it, because - again -we had exceptional service. Food was very good for dinner and even better, for breakfast. Our room was very clean, with soft beds. It was more quiet than we had anticipated, but that may be because Beale Street is actually about a block away. Hotel is in a great location, right across the street from Fedex Forum and the Memphis Rock & Soul Museum. Easy drive to Graceland. Also, there are many great restaurants within 1 to 2 miles of this hotel. We will definitely keep this hotel ”on the radar” for a future visit !

Bed Bugs!!! Bed Bugs!!!! Only stay if you want to take bed bugs home. I was moved twice only to find bed bugs in each room. Management has no concern. Seems like it was normal for them. If you decide to stay take bed bug spray. Spray down the side of the mattress don’t put anything on bed or floor. Leave for an hour if there are bedbugs they will come out.

Guest House was beautiful. It felt as if I was walking into a movie scene. Very beautiful place. They have a movie theater with free Elvis movies each night, food was excellent and service was superb. Location is great and very secure. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. This is a clean hotel and a good breakfast but is really starting to show it wear and tear. Also you have thins walls to hear that guest who checks in at 2:30 am. The sheets are basically see-through, but it was a clean stay. The fitness center needs more than two sets of dumbbells. It had cardio equipment, but would’ve liked weights since I work out every day. This Holiday Inn also needs a more efficient check in process. They check in a lot of workmen, and they check in is all manual and paper-based. Takes forever. They have a happy hour on some days. Closer to the mall and restaurants. Pro tip…..Take the back way around the mall to avoid traffic. Would prefer to stay at the Hampton Inn since they recently remodeled, but couldn’t get in there.

Excellent
We normally use this hotel about 1.5 years ago and it was awesome, hot breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms. These are the reasons we used this hotel. We just went September 12-14. We paid a lot which we didn’t care because of the reasons stated above. It started with the breakfast that used to be hot, now it’s like they keep reheating old food. The eggs wasn’t real eggs like substitute eggs, everything tasted like reheated food that it didn’t hold any heat of its own. We went down early so the food should have been hot but it was like it was cooked a long time ago. I had to do some remote work so I told one of my relatives to get me some food and bring it up because I couldn’t leave work. He said the kitchen server was complaining saying they are taking all the food when he just got two plates of food, she said this so loud that they heard her, then she was scoffing like a two year old the whole time, she also said, if they was us they would know how we feel, first of all no, I wouldn’t because I care about making people happy so it wouldn’t been a problem for me to serve because I been in a job like that and enjoyed it, she was just lazy and didn’t want to work and the food tasted just like her attitude, terrible! Then most of the things in room didn’t work, the coffee machine cord had a shortage in it, the iron was just leaking water. This place changed a lot! We was so looking forward to this place now we have to find another place to stay. I guess all good things does come to an end.
GGuest UserThis hotel was really nice. When we arrived they gave us a room that was not clean completely clean. We immediately went back downstairs and They switched the room and gave us vouchers for drinks for the inconvenience. It was walking distance about 10 minutes from beale street. There are restaurants nearby and the hotel have a nice restaurant. I would stay here again.
THE most hospitable hotel stay I've had in many years !! The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. For the first time, in a long time, I felt like a welcome guest. This is a boutique hotel only five blocks from Beale St. It's relatively small and kind of quaint. The room was clean and neat. Mattresses were very comfortable. Towels were big and fluffy, and we even had very nice robes in the closet. The room was big enough without being too big or too small. It even had an wonderful shower. The hotel is just completing a major renovation, although I saw none of it. Our only impact from the renovation was that we missed the restaurant reopening by two days. This was not a problem, there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. I will make a point of returning to the Napoleon Hotel next time I'm in Memphis.
GGuest UserStaff was super friendly and hotel is just a short drive to the airport. Room smelled terrible and was very run down. Didn’t even have a garbage can in the room. Worst part was the cockroach I smashed in the morning. Could not get out of there fast enough. Do not recommend staying here
I was enjoying the last bit of good weather and the good views at Hu hotel rooftop. The food and drinks on menu are welll made! The Drink menu is more interesting than most spots . The bartenders Alicia and Ellie were busy all night with drinks and the cook Rum-b helped pick my food, the wings. I’d recommend to friends and coworkers
GGuest UserThe check in process was fast, the front desk staff was good and professional. Easy parking, in quiet neighborhood, inviting lobby, clean hallways. Great hot shower temperature, clean beds. Had following issues: 1. WiFi did not work and the hotel insisted we called the toll free number provided by them ourselves to solve it, which I believe it's the hotel's responsibility to provide easy access WiFi and resolve technical issues on their end. 2. General Manager, Leslie Mitchell, would use more active listening and empathy, rather than came across as defensive, unresponsive, careless about the customers. 3. No hairdryer, nor extra roll of toilet paper, nor complimentary bottled water upon arrival of the room. 4. Shower head had water pouring toward the further wall across, would be better if properly position to have water flowing right in the middle of the bathtub/shower room or towards the interior wall away from the shower curtain/outside. 5. obvious carpet stains, and door stain as well as fell-off paints. Sheraton is known to be a reputable hotel chain, and haven't stayed with Sheraton for a long time, not a good experience, especially with bad attitude and poor customer care from the general manager in this location.
I stayed here earlier in the month with friends. Two things dragged down my review for this hotel. First while at the hotel, they were out of a few condiments at breakfast and the attendant was out of that area socializing with other hotel staff, leaving it in need of resupplying. The other was after my stay. As a HH member, I was eligible for a points bonus which was running this fall. For some reason, the hotel gave me the bonus points for my stay, but NO points for the actual money spent at the hotel. I will have to call them or HH to get the points for the rate that I spent while there. Annoying!
AAlisha MThe outside is not all appealing but when you get inside tour room, it's nice. The staff is not all that except for the one black lady, she made us feel welcomed, she joked and spoke every time she saw us, the other staff members, they just looked at us and didn't part their moth. Lol It served its purpose for us when we went. We went for a lakers and grizzlies game. It's like 15 to 20 mins away from FedEx Forum. I would rebook here again.
GGattaThe motel is very close to the center so it is very easy and comfortable to get there. The good thing was that it is in a gated property so at least it feels safe. I reserved a room for three people but they provided just two sets of towels. The room had the basic. TV, no fridge. The main problem I had was the clean. The room did not feel clean at all. The beds were changed, but under the bed the dust and dirt was disgusting. The floor probably has not been clean from a very long time and there was a condom wrap open under the bed. The walls and doors had spots all over . Overpriced for what you get.
GGuest UserThe hotel was so bad I walked in went into the bathroom and walked out. Bathroom was dirty had hairs on the floor and dirt in the toilet. A metal frame look like they belonged in a prison cell. And there were bedbugs you could visually see on the beds. We stayed in that room for five minutes walked out and never walked back in
