Hotel Dorado la 70

Medellin|2.42km from Calzado Mozaiko
Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents. This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

Hotel Nutibara
3.4/580 Reviews
Hotel Nutibara is located in the centre of Mendoza at 2.2 km of the bus-station. The hotel offers 56 rooms over 2 floors, indoor parking, outdoor pool, restaurant & café, and a poorly equipped gym. The hotel is outdated but is still pleasant. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a room with view of the pool. Our room was adequately furnished and decorated, with a good double-bed & bedlinen, ceiling-ventilator, TV on the wall, mirror-cabinet, air-conditioning, wardrobe & safe. We had a small separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower over the bath. All was clean. Windows can be opened and have shutters. There is substantial traffic noise. At the nearby corner is a bus stop and traffic lights. Busses stop and accelerate from early morning till late at night. The breakfast is modest: pastries, toast, butter & marmalade, croissants, fruit & orange juice, cups of cereals, milk, tea & coffee. Scrambled eggs and espressos are extra. We found hotel Nutibara comfortable and we had a OK stay.

All right only have cucumbers that pass through the whole room. The boy of the very friendly breakfast, very serviceful housekeeping and attentive, you have all the shops near. If I stay again. I hope they resolve and smoke well.

The hotel is very good, I knew the hotel since Santa Marta, but the experience in Medellín was not the best for the attention of the reception girl, too antipatic and unserviceful, but I don't remember her exact name. Super arrogant to answer questions, he did not assign us an entrance room and when he was agreed was he told us where we were going, with the parkinger theme basically he told me that if you didn't have to look for a parkinger, The next day I asked him for a cob and he told me there was no. We asked room with Tina and he touched us to call about 3 times to arrest him. I highlight Mr Ruben's attention that he has undoubtedly said “do not worry that we will stay the car on a crossed side and if something I call him to run it”

Staying at this youth hostel in Medellin, although the facilities are rudimentary, the service is very good. Especially the staff helped me change the local currency, and I had the money to go to the supermarket to buy rice oil and salt for cooking.

Stayed 4 nights. I dont recommend this 3 (NOT 4) stars hotel. Pros: Apparently one of the only two acceptable hotels in the Centro; VERY inexpensive; immaculately clean; attentive reception. Cons: 1. I reserved an airport pickup, which didnt show up. The hotel believed the driver that he was there. There was no chance that we missed each other. 2. Reception and corridors are dark. 3. Even the more quiet rooms get morning traffic noise. 4. Very limited places to put stuff out of the suitcases. 5. The sink, which is in the room itself, is constructed to splatter the floor. 6. Housekeeping forgot an item every day. 7. VERY basic unvarying breakfast. 8. Most of the receptionists weren't smiling or friendly, which in Colombia is surprising.

Convenient location, within walking distance from Metro Station, Botero Park, Airport Bus, etc. There are many supermarkets and cheap restaurants around. The facilities are new and clean, and the dormitory beds have curtains. There is also a locker, and the room is accessible with a card key and security is fine. The free breakfast is also good and you can drink coffee. The only problem was that the hot water in the shower did not come out once during the stay. Cold medejin at night, I wonder if I want this to be improved. But I would like to stay here if I go to Medezin again.
