Overall The Ardboyne Hotel is a wonderful place. The location is excellent, lots of parking and gardens lovely. Inside the are many changes still my last visit. The new decor looks beautiful and I can see there are improvements being made throughout the hotel, not all complete as yet but obviously that whole hotel is going through an upgrade. The biggest asset this hotel has is its staff, there is nothing too much for them to do to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, this really is their jewel in the crown.

We had our wedding reception here Oct 2024. Hotel was lovely, it had a modern but slightly rustic vibe (if that's a thing) the staff were ALL fantastic, but honorable mention to Nicola (wedding coordinator). The staff made sure the day ran effortlessly and the food was fantastic. (Regular) Rooms were nice, spacious and clean with the exception of some dirty grout in the bathrooms (it wasn't terrible just a bit grubby if your fussy) but pricing was very good for what you get. The bridal suite was immaculate and beautiful. It's in a good central location but DO NOT go to the pub/club over the road called ”the palace” as its a kip and the door men act disgracefully. (Go to the royal meath up on the right).. last thing worth noting is the parking area is SUPER TIGHT, low cars struggle and large estate/small suv style cars are a bit hard to get around in but it is manageable but is also multistory.. all in all a fantastic wedding experience in this hotel start to finish.

Very friendly staff when I arrived and plenty of free parking. I got a spotlessly clean room with plenty of workspace, the coffee maker in the room is a nice touch. The hotel is only 10 mins walk from the town centre. As it was a quiet Tuesday night I ate in the hotel restaurant which was good value. Breakfast, included with the room, was served in the main restaurant and it was nice to have a freshly cooked fry up, not the usual lukewarm buffet most hotels seem to have now. Looking forward to staying again in a few weeks time.

I was the organiser of a golf event in September 2024 and part of a group of twenty golfers who stayed at the hotel. From the first contact with the hotel about a year prior to the event the level of service, professionalism, communication and advice was superb. A complete turnkey package - rooms, golf, dining, transport - was put together for me by the team at the hotel at a very competitive price. Initially I dealt with Lenka and subsequently with Sibella. They were both brilliant to deal with and so competent in all their dealings with me. My group loved the ambiance of the hotel - spacious courtyard, lovely bar areas, restaurant and rooms. The staff everywhere throughout were attentive, courteous and well trained. We dined on two evenings in the hotel and were very satisfied with the choice and quality of the food presented. As an aside, the female bartender in the bar makes the most wonderful cadillac margaritas! The hotel is in a delightful location adjacent to the Liffey in Leixlip and a lovely get-away within twenty minutes or so from Dublin. I would highly recommend this hotel.

As the title says there is lots of positives but def areas that need attention. Firstly the package was very expensive over €600 for 1 night b&b with 30 min rasul treatment in spa and dinner in restaurant for 2. I don't mind spending extra but when I do then I expect very high standards to go with it. It's handy to get to just off motorway but then the trade off is it's not the most scenic place. The accommodation : On arrival we were very kindly allowed check in a bit early as a room was ready. There was a wedding on so we weren't in the old part ( where possibly the nicer rooms are) the room had an adjoining door into the next room and was very small for a ”deluxe” room as quoted In the package. We went to reception to ask to be changed and very kindly this was obliged. However the room we were moved to was in my opinion in poor condition. The wear and tear was very obvious. The walls were dirty looking and scuffed there were poorly repaired plaster work . For the price this was not what I expected. We again went back to reception and on this occasion met a manager who assured us he would take care of things and apologised. He took us to a 3rd room which I think may have been slightly bigger but at this point a realised all the rooms had a significant amount of wear and tear so it was time to accept this. The bed and furniture was fine but again the walls were scuffed and plaster work poorly repaired and just painted over. The bathrooms are clean but dated looking. The bathroom tap on several occasions covered us and the floor with water when you barely turn it. The sink blocked and when I extracted the plug hole to empty water the plug was not a pretty site. The bathroom door was partially painted . The room door has lumps out of it and the frame. The spa: The spa is the major highlight and would be somewhere we would return to. The staff were so lovely especially the lady on the desk who fit in a treatment for us last min. The facilities are really lovely and the outdoor hydrotherapy pool again a gorgeous spot. We were given a complimentary glass of prosecco arranged I believe from the manager we dealt with over the room and a bottle was left in our room. This was a lovely gesture. Food: We had lunch in the coach house. We had a steak sandwich which was OK. The meat was nice but the bread was soggy. The included dinner in fire & salt was very nice I had the soup then steak and finally the chocolate fondant. I enjoyed everything. Unfortunately I started feeling unwell mid way through dinner so went back to the room before we got to try the cocktail bar or live music in bar. This was a shame as we would of loved to experience the cocktails. The venue looked lovely from the outside. Breakfast was again lovely. I had a hot breakfast but as I was wasn't feeling great didn't get to try the cold buffet. Overall it was lovely to get away as a couple a break from our very busy lives with work and 3 kids. I think t

GGuest UserA little piece of heaven in the Westmeath countryside. From the moment you arrive you are transported back to a kinder and gentler time. We arrived on a rainy Fall day but the scenery couldn’t have been more beautiful. The view of the lake over the rolling hills and countless white sheep is spectacular. We were met at the front door by the owner, Verity and one or her two dogs Nutmeg. Verity informed us that we would have the house to ourselves that night and led us to the Copper Beech room our lovely accommodation for the night. Verity invited us to get settled and then join her down stairs. A wonderfully gracious host, she served us hot tea and fresh baked lemon cake in front of a warm fire in the sitting room. While there, she made several dinner suggestions and gave us a key to the house so that we could come and go as we please. We took a walk through the grounds, walking amongst the sheep and marveling at the beautiful vistas. Our room was spotlessly clean and bright with a wonderful king bed and soaking tub. The next morning we had a traditional breakfast in the dining room at a beautifully decorated table looking across the fields at the lake. Breakfast was perfect and we spent some time getting to know our host. What a gem! The whole experience was magical and we will surely be back!
Over all hotel staff are lovely we arrived at 10:30 28th Oct I had paid €40 for early check in to be giving key to the room at 2pm I thought was ridiculous finally got to our room wasn’t nothing deluxe about the room black hair in clumps in toilet on bathroom floor and bed sheets along with big stains on carpet I don’t think it was worth 210 I ended paying food in both restaurants is beautiful I was very let down it was a nite away for my hubbys 40th but them few things dampened the stay for us All staff are lovely 🥰
Have stayed in Belinter house twice now. And it will definitely be our hotel of choice in future. Old world style with a super relaxed vibe, set in gorgeous grounds, Beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Rooms are both lovely and comfy. The customer service is exceptional, with with a professional and friendly staff that do all they can to make your stay in the hotel the very best. Having team members like Darren, Grace, Judith and Ger on staff is what makes the difference between a good stay and a great stay. The dining experience was top notch. Im not the easiest person to accommodate as I have food allergies, but from breakfast service, straight through to dinner, the food was delicious, The ability to accommodate diatry needs and still deliver taste, style and choice to the standard of the rest of the menu is very rare. It was also a breath of fresh air to see the standard, thought and did not drop when it came to the vegan and vegetarian menu, which in my experience can quite often seem like an afterthought. It is very, very obvious that every clients experience is important to Chef at Bellinter. Now for the spa services, again exceptional service from the moment you walk in the door, everything you need is provided and of great quality. All you need is yourself and a pair of flipflops. I had treatments with both Amy and Uri. Undoubtedly the treatments ive had in a spa setting, anywhere.so looking forward to trying out the bath bath house facilities on my next trip. Which I am hoping is very soon
HH9305PLangeladWe stayed here on a 2 night Emerald Park package which was great value.I have to say from.start to finish we had a great stay ..interconnecting rooms for 2 teens ...lovely breakfast...dinner is great staff so nice and helpful .I cannot recommend this enough for anyone going to Emerald Park with kids .will be back .
We were going to attend a wedding at Ballymagarvey and needed somewhere to stay the night before. Found it while looking on Google maps, contacted them and got a room for one night. when we arrived we were impressed at how new and modern the building looked. Inside was just as impressive and all the staff we encountered were courteous and efficient, Couldn't fault it.
