Hotel New Station

I stopped by Matsumoto. Although the temperature outside was lower than expected, it was very warm inside and I was able to relax.

I think it's a good location for those who use trains within a 5-minute walk from Matsumoto Station. The building is old, and the room is a business hotel from a long time ago except for the unit bath. The response from the employees was warm and very positive. There is a large public bath on the top floor, but I don't think you should expect too much. In terms of service, there was nothing like that while other hotels were doing various services to improve satisfaction.

It matched the criteria of being close to the station and having a large public bath. Although it is old, the room is nice and clean. Although the twin rooms on the 6th floor are a bit small, the windows offer a view of the station platform and the city, enough to stir up your wanderlust. The public bath on the 7th floor is small for women and has three washing areas. You can feel safe as the lock can be unlocked with a password, and if you choose the time you can relax in the cypress bath. The lobby is small and there is only one elevator, but it is not a large hotel so it is not an inconvenience. The staff were also nice.

I used it for sightseeing. A nostalgic room with a nostalgic key type and wooden furnishings suitable for Nagano. It's very clean and I love the atmosphere. Breakfast is mainly Japanese food and uses ingredients from Nagano, so it's perfect for traveling in Nagano. The bath is not large, but other famous business hotels are like this. There was a cypress bath, and the amenities such as shampoo were properly used by Pola. The staff was kind and very nice. There is also a parking lot near the hotel, which costs 1,100 yen. It's a little difficult to park, but everywhere around Matsumoto station is like this.

This hotel is conveniently located for going out by train or bus from Matsumoto Station. The deciding factors were that there is a bath on the top floor, the 7th floor, that the accommodation fee is reasonable, and that there are further discounts for consecutive nights. Without much hesitation, I decided that I liked the bath. There are 3 washing machines on the 4th floor, and the washing machine is 200 yen, and the dryer is 100 yen. The bath has lotion, milky lotion, cleansing liquid, etc., and body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were also from famous manufacturers. The room said it was okay to wear a yukata and slippers, so I entered twice a day like a hot spring inn. You can take a bath from 1:00 am in the evening and 6:00 in the morning. I never used the unit bath in the room. For daily cleaning, if you stick a magnetic card to your door, even if you don't want cleaning, new yukata, bath towels, towels, and amenities will be put in a bag and hung on the doorknob. The room was equipped with a bright reading light, a two-door refrigerator, and an office-style chair. I couldn't open the window, but if you want to ventilate, you can open it by borrowing the window key. I could only see the office in the building next door, but since I was out most of the time, it didn't bother me. I stayed for 3 nights, but the front desk was polite. There is a Japanese restaurant on the first floor, where you can eat breakfast. 1,000 yen once. At dinner, couples in yukata and business customers were eating. Although the station is close, you can hardly hear the sound of the train, and it is quiet at night. As for meals, there are various genres of restaurants, izakayas, cafeterias, etc. nearby, so it was fun to eat. There are several convenience stores and a large supermarket in the ba*****t of the bus terminal. In addition, it is a hotel I want to use when I go to Matsumoto.

It was my first time staying in Matsumoto, so I chose this hotel near the station, which has a large (?) public bath. Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided by the front desk and restaurant staff. However, I had requested a room with a good view in advance, but from the window, I was disappointed because it was a scenery of the roof of the concrete station building. It was nice to be able to relax in the bath on the 7th floor. Also, it was a great deal to be able to purchase a ticket for Matsumoto Castle for 400 yen.
