Spent 5 days here, the staff were all extremely friendly and happy to help with anything. The rooms were nice and clean, a lit of updated needed, but no complaints. There were plenty of loungers by the pool. The food was OK best being breakfast and lunch dinner was nice but could be a hit or miss. There was entertainment usually a singer on at night which finished at 11pm. The place was nice and quiet. Would definitely think about going back

I was recommended the Canary Gardens by my mum and auntie who have both stayed and was not disappointed! The cleanliness was outstanding and the grounds were immaculate at all times. Friendly staff service and the breakfasts in particular were excellent. Would definitely come back!

Many people have said they were unable to get afternoon cake. It is served between 3-4 pm from the pool bar you just have to ask. It is kept to there to save spoiling and waste. I have been to this hotel several times and never found any other snacks although you can order from the pool bar menu from 12-4pm so I suppose no need for snacks.

The Tripadvisor reviews don’t lie, why the Canary Gardens is 3 star is a mystery to me. The bungalows are so well looked after, the cleaning crew do an amazing job. Food is really, really good. I have stayed in 5 star plus hotels where the food has not been to this standard. Drinks are not branded but are of a good standard, I can vouch for the gin and beer 😀. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they all work so hard. We will be back for sure.

If you want a chilled out holiday, book here we had two bungalows that were near each other. 6/4 & 4/2. First impression was very good. Check in was easy and quick . All of the reception staff very very friendly and helpful. Easy to find our bungalows. Free WiFi ,netflix and safe. The bungalow was well equipped with everything you needed if you went self catering. ( We were all inclusive). You had a double and single bed in one room, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Living room had a small kitchen in it. Bathroom was big, lovely shower. Hairdryer in bathroom. Patio had a table with two chairs, table and two sun loungers. Pool area was good never had to get up early for sunbeds. Don't know what it would be like in the height of season. But having sun beds out side the bungalow we used them. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Lunch you ordered at the pool bar, need more than one staff at a time as could see being chaos at the high of season. Dinner was not too bad. It was on at six to eight thirty. Which we found to be a bit early for us. Night entertainment was the usual hit and miss. Pool bar is open from eleven to eleven apart from it shuts during dinner time. The bar in dining room is open when dinner is on. Very clean place, gardens well looked after. If you have children from ages birth to teenagers, I wouldn't book here , as it's very quiet and not a lot around it. Also I couldn't have three adults in one bungalow, there wouldn't be much space. I think they should just be for two adults. What makes this place is the staff so friendly and polite. Always on the go. You can smoke at your bungalow and front of the hotel. We will back sometime. Amazing place. Clean with lovely friendly staff and amazing food. We have never returned to a resort even when we have really liked it- this year will be our 3rd visit! Sun loungers galore- just perfect .Paradise on a budget - would highly recommend

Would 100% come back! We went in Feb 24 and loved it- the price was very reasonable, the food was perfect. Very clean hotel and the sun loungers were comfy! You can book the Bali beds for £5 a day which was worth it. Great location, with the hotel being 5 minutes from Maspalomass in a taxi and 8 mins from playa del Inglés! Would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff work really hard, from the cleaners, bar staff, waitresses, lifeguard and the reception staff! 5 star would definitely come back!

From the moment we arrived everyone associated with the hotel were incredibly friendly from the reception to restaurant and bars even the cleaning staff and gardner's, beautiful little bungalows very clean and we had our own sunloungers for the gardens outside of the bungalows, if you didn't want to go around the pool, even that was quiet and there's always sunloungers available any time of day, food was excellent would highly recommend this hotel

i have just returned from my stay at this hotel and it was a great stay however there are some cons to this hotel! We arrived late at night (12:30am) and were told we weren’t able to have a drink however we were offered food if we were hungry. The bungalows are very nice and have great facilities, the bathroom is great and the beds are comfortable. However, they are very small and have minimal space to store suitcases. I felt that with three suitcases in the room there was not much space to move around or feel relaxed when in the room. After a while we all began to felt cramped together, however this isn’t a huge issue as we did not stay in the bungalow for a large amount of time. One issue i did have was the wifi, not just in the bungalow but the whole resort. When in our room there was no internet connection at all the only place it seemed to work for me was in the bathroom, and no one really wants to sit in the bathroom just to use their phone. Our bungalow was right at the back and we had continual trouble with getting the wifi to work, i'm not sure if this issue was due to the location of the bungalow or if everyone was experiencing the same issue. However, outside of the bungalow the wifi worked in the seating area inside and outside but not by the pool. We all began to get very frustrated by this and ended up giving up and just paying £2 a day to use our data. Moving on to the food, the food was nice and tasted good however there was limited options for vegetarians. A lot of the food was meat and fish with a small corner of the buffet dedicated to any vegetarians, however there was only 4 options to choose from. Breakfast was good with your standard expectation of eggs, bacon, toast, cereal etc. There is a chef that makes pancakes and fried eggs in front of you. Lunch is a set menu which u order from the bar outside and they bring to either your table or you can choose to take it to your sun bed. Again, there was only about 3 options for vegetarians on the menu. Dinner was good, there was always a good range of food and the desserts were amazing!! One common issue at the hotel was the bar. The staff working were always fantastic, however the bar opens at 11am which means as soon as it would open a very long queue would start to form. There was only 2 members of staff on the bar which means service was quite slow. This was a major issue at lunch time. They start taking orders for lunch at 12:30 and this created a massive queue which would sometime even grow to inside of the restaurant. Moving onto evening entertainment. It wasn’t the greatest. The first night we stayed there was a great duo that sung and played the piano however i think that was the only good evening of entertainment. A lot of the singers that performed weren’t great and it was very difficult to have a conversation over the singing as it was very very loud.
