5 Star Hotels in Marmaris

My husband and I and our friend Colin have just returned from our 17th visit to this amazing hotel. This is the best hotel in Turkey, it is in an ideal location, close to the beach and local shops, bars and restaurants. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were back home. We were given the warmest welcome at the reception and were super excited to meet up with all the staff members again. All of the staff are so nice and work so hard to make sure that everyone has the best holiday. Kemel is the night manager, we always make a point of seeing him for a chat before we settle into our room, such a lovely man , during our 2 week stay he always finds the time to chat and is always asking us if we are having a nice time or checking if we need anything. Bayram is the housekeeping manager, we have known him since our first visit , another lovely man who always asks us if everything is ok with our room and often has a coffee with us in the morning. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff here. They are the most hard working people we have ever met. As it was coming to the end of the season some of the staff had already left so that meant a few of the waiters were working double shifts every day, they were so tired but still managed to smile and interact with the guests. I must make a special mention to Sellahatin, Enis and Emin, the 3 best waiters in the main restaurant. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. We have known Sellahatin for many years and keep in touch with him throughout the year, he is very good at his job and always smiling. Enis and Emin serve us by the pool for breakfast and lunch, really good waiters, very attentive and always making us laugh. Two others that deserve a mention are the two lovely girls Lily and Ellif, so friendly and fun to be with. Every member of staff at the hotel are so hard working from the cleaners who do an amazing job cleaning the rooms and everywhere else around the resort to the management team that make sure everything runs smoothly. Hasan and Sedat manage the restaurant very well and are such nice people. We always pay a little extra for a sea view room as the view of the ocean is stunning, we did manage to wake up early enough to watch the sunrise from our balcony a couple of times and it was so beautiful to watch. The only real downfall for us was the entertainment team and the sunbed situation. You have to get up so early to have any chance of getting a bed by the pool, but we witnessed people tipping the pool boy to reserve them before they even got up in the morning , so unfair on other guests and something the management need to address. The entertainment team play ridiculously loud music by the pool all day obviously catering for the younger generation but as we are all over 60 years old we do like to relax on our holiday so we usually go down to the hotels private beach, its lovely and has a private jetty with waiter service all day. I stayed at this hotel with my family for a few days and we had a fantastic experience The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.. The pool area was beautiful and always kept spotless making it the perfect place to relax and cool off throughout the day The entertainment team was amazing, thanks for Harry, Potter, Barney! keeping guests of all ages engaged with fun activities and evening shows that were full of energy and creativity The only small downside was that the food options could have been a bit more varied, but the lively atmosphere and excellent entertainment more than made up for it. We had a memorable family vacation and would love to return

Travelled to this hotel as part of a group of 13 people, a mix of adults and children. Positives * Clean hotel and spotless area around the pool and bars. Staff always cleaning. * lovely pool but cold, plenty of sunbeds, and we didn't need to rush to get beds. * Food was very good, something for everyone. * pool towels could be changed daily. *beautiful sunrise from balcony well worth upgrading to sea view. *jetty on the pier, it's lovely to relax on, but you need to get up early to get beds. *All staff were friendly, especially in the restaurant and the omelette man. *air-conditioning was good in the room. * The animation team was really good, especially the dark-haired lady. She remembered people's names when getting them involved. * The hotel is in such a good position right next to the shops, bars, and restaurants. *lots of great seating areas to chill and have a drink. * The 3 musicians in the evening performing while we had our food were so good. Negatives *bed sheet was thin and rough like a old towel * The selection of drinks was terrible. no pink gin, proseco, dark rum, or malibu, definitely not 5* Bars ran out of certain drinks and was never stocked back up. This left us drinking the same drinks all the time. Cocktails were hit, and miss depends on who made them. The lobby bar was the worst. I've never seen such a low stocked bar. *3 people in our room but only ever left 2 towels for showers, was eventually resolved by guests relation lady.

Once again a remarkable stay at this fabulous hotel. Our fourth visit and already booked for 2025. From check in to check out, the staff here are so courteous, helpful and friendly. It is a pleasure to come back again. Our room was cleaned to a high standard, with regular changes of linen and towels. The ladies were hard working and polite. The food in the restaurants was varied and well presented. Plenty of choice, even for the most picky of guests. The Levante restaurant has the most amazing views and the food and service was second to none. Thank you to Armed/t and his team for making our anniversary meal so special. The Green and Grill made a nice change for lunch on some days. Ayden and all the waiters were attentive and the food hot and tasty. The pool bar and beach bar are a great addition to the main bar in the hotel. Sitting on the beach was so relaxing 😎 and there were always sun loungers to be had around the pool area. A special mention to the Blue Guides, Ruthe and Seniha who were always available to offer assistance and answer any questions. General manager Sharon Ay, was welcoming and a visible presence in the hotel, often found talking to guests. In the short time that we have been visiting the hotel, we have seen many improvements that make our time spent here even more enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

This is possibly the most wonderful place I have ever visited. Stunning sandy beaches, top quality food in all the restaurants and the service is second to none. We could not have been looked after better. Special thanks to Murat at Divia restaurant. We are on the plane home and already plotting our return. Anyone who goes here is lucky indeed.
