CCdiner beat me to it; it looks like we stayed there at the same time. The hotel is clearly understaffed and all the problems arise from there. Everything is dumped on the shoulders of the front desk employees, who are amazing, nice, hard-working people who now had to bend backwards answering phones, dealing with walk ins, putting together breakfast bags, exchanging laundry and towels, etc. But they only can be in one place at one time. No staff at the hotel from 8 pm to 8 am. Our second night someone was trying to get into our room at 2 am confusing it with their room. Our third night there from 1:00 to 2:00 am we heard a couple, first, arguing right outside, then one calling another into the room right at our door, then around 6 am the same couple had a fight, the lady was screaming, banging on the door, smashed the window of their room and took off. Again, no staff is present at those hours. Below is updated list of amenities and services with my comments on what you actually can expect: Property amenities Free parking: YES Free High Speed Internet (WiFi): YES Pool: YES Free breakfast: doggie bags with Nature Valley granola bar, bag of chips, bag of peanuts Baggage storage: probably Yes Non-smoking hotel: - theoretically, but not enforced. Suites: NO HOTEL STYLE Quiet: Heck NO I want to finish what looks like a bad review with a huge thank you to the hotel staff on duty, who one person per shift juggles million things, trying to keep multiple balls in the air. Hotel Management - you need to do a better job.

Miners Inn

The location is excellent, there are two big roads at the entrance, and it is convenient to go into the mountains and go to other cities. The front desk is busy, and the invoice is prepared in advance, and the check-in is given directly. The room is not bad, there is a very strange double seat shower, hair dryer is better than other homes, and a microwave oven. The breakfast restaurant is very spacious and the content is not bad.
The Yosemite Inn

The Yosemite Inn was a wonderful place to stay for 4 nights. The room was very clean, spacious with lots of open floor space and very quiet. We have never had a room that had so much good lighting. There were 3 chairs, two comfortable high backs and one good roller chair for the desk. A good size mini fridge and a microwave. Entry from the outside eased loading and unloading our bags. Very good choices for breakfast. The bakery muffins were to die for. Secure, private parking (free) surrounded by the inn on 3 sides and one wall with a row of beautiful cypress trees. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. And all of this at an economical price point.

Mariposa Fair Bungalow Tent Cabins - Caravan Park

The tent cabin was very clean and had all the amenities of a motel room except the restroom is a few yards away like when you're camping. The showers were a bit further away. It's glamping at its finest, really. The floors are solid, pretty wood-like laminate and there were 8 outlets to charge electronics. There is a coffee-maker and a mini frig with a freezer. The best part of the deal was how clean and pretty it was!! We went in August and it was a little warm but there's a ceiling fan and a box fan that helped circulate the air and pull in cooler air from outside in the afternoons.

Stayed here for 1 night on a road trip heading to Yosemite. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were pretty small but easy enough to deal with. Staff was helpful. We left some items there by accident and they found them, called us and offered to ship them back to us. I'd stay here again if we are ever back in the area.
