Very nice clean hotel, but the restaurant service wasn’t the best

Nice location, decent sized room, great pool. Unfortunately the lights kept coming on in the room (4 times overnight!) and we had a TERRIBLE nights sleep. Reception weren’t interested when I told them…

Everything was great

I stayed in the "luxury garden view room", i was disappointed for several reasons: 1- The furniture in the room is a 3 star hotel furniture. Although the furniture of hotel lobby is 5 star. 2- The bed was in the middle of the room. They built closets behind the bed. And no electricity socket near the bed to charge your phone. 3- A round table and 2 chairs were between the bed and the way to the toilet and closet. I had to move the chairs to have more space in the room 4-The sink mixer handle broke and draining the water takes time. I dont know if they check the room regularly after every guest. My parents stayed in a "premium suite".It had alot of furniture pieces, It would have been better if they would have a mini kitchen. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean. Since it's a resort, the villas are desingned in a nice way, walking from the villa to the restaurant to the lobby is nice. The breakfast buffet was perfect. The value for money I give it a 5/10.

First of all this hotel has the potential to be a top class resort. This wasn’t our experience this time but was assured by the manager that as it is under new management changes were being made. Upon check in we were upgraded to a suite which was very much appreciated. The rooms are dated with dark cumbersome furniture and old creaky wardrobes with no chest of drawers, just unuseful small drawers. In our Villa there were 11 sets of heavy curtains to pull morning and night which again were dated and not suitable for a ‘Boutique Hotel. However the room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. Plenty of water left in the room and toiletries in the bathroom. Drinks are very expensive and the non availability of a buffet breakfast on some mornings not favourable. Having being informed we could get anything from the buffet this was not the case. Disappointing. The pool and beach area is magnificent and the setting of the villas is beautiful. Ladies gym very good. This has the potential to be a stunning resort but it is not there yet. The Shisha bar is a fabulous place to sit back and relax. The food was very good and with the new chef had the potential to be excellent. He came and introduced himself to us and asked how the food was. One massive shout out must go to Maria who works in the restaurant/room service. Her sparkly personality and willingness to make our stay the best was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, what an asset to your organisation. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and hope that these ‘teething problems’ will be sorted.

This hotel is a short drive from everything in Manama. The outdoor are is beautiful, there is a sand beach and infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The staff are exceptional. Everyone (except one see below) we encountered form reception to lifeguards to cleaners were so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded on arrival which was very nice. The villas are large and spacious thought the interior decor is pretty dated. The spa was also great. Cleng does one of the best massages I have ever had. The only problem we had was one evening we signed drinks in eh bar to our room. When we got to the room the bartender called to tell us we couldn't sign drinks to our room as we had not left a deposit at reception. That had not been mentioned to us at all on check in. The bartender very kindly offered to bring the bill and card machine to our room. After half an hour of waiting I called the front desk to see if they could speak to the bar and find out when they were coming. Another 20 minutes later someone came to the room. When I said I had been waiting nearly an hour the response was well it's not my area. As someone who has been in the hotel industry for 25 years including owning my own hotel that is not an acceptable answer to a guest who has been kept waiting. It was disappointing as all the other staff were so amazing. With the exception of this one incident we had a very nice stay and would recommend the hotel

The reef boutique hotel canceled my reservation and said we Already sent full booking email to hotel website Unfortunately I spent two hours waiting for nothing

I was in the resort last Friday We couldn’t sleep all night tell morning because of some guests having an outdoor party at the pool which is open 24 hours. The sound of their speaker was so loud and when we informed the receptionist 2 times he did nothing . We were wondering if you are allowed to bring your speaker and do an outdoor party. It was a miserable night and not thinking of visiting the place again. Resorts need to enforce noise regulations to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.

Make sure to check the room before check in. I had problems with the front door does not luck properly (major security issue), jacuzzi does not work, check-in takes long time, and staff is not fast to respond back
