Hotels in Malmo City Center, Malmo

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western hotel in Malmö. The breakfast they offered was absolutely delicious—every bite was incredible, beyond what I expected. The reception manager also showed special care for us, making us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for such a great experience!

The lady at the front desk said there were biscuits and tea for reception, and hot water was provided, which was rare. I booked a standard room with two 80cm beds next to each other. The room was a bit small and the bathroom was a bit crowded, but it was only one night, so it was not a big problem. In the morning, the hotel provided a buffet breakfast, which was quite good, with a full variety, and I was full. The yogurt was delicious, and there were fruits. I gave it another +1. Compared with other hotels, it is quite affordable and cost-effective.

The breakfast was good, the best is the hand made waffles, the coffee is also very good, and the honey is provided intimately. The front desk is warm. The hotel is also very stylish and full of prints and flamingo elements. The rooms are spacious and offer a wide range of spares. However, there are no slippers and toothbrushes because they are personal items. The location of the room is also very good, walk to the train station for five minutes, but it is quiet. In short, very recommended!

Perfect hotel. Wide variety for breakfast, dinner included with main course and a variety of accompaniments (salad, soup or cream, sauces, breads…), unlimited coffee during the day and even a snack in the afternoon. The room was very spacious and the bathroom too. The only downside was the shower, it was quite small and the water leaked out of the screen. After a day of freezing temperatures, there is nothing better than finishing it off with the sauna available.

Heel fijn hotel met een hele enthousiaste aardige meneer, voorzien van een prachtige snor, achter de desk. Parkeren was vooraf gereserveerd en kon onder het hotel. Ideaal! Kamers waren schoon en netjes en erg ruim, enige minpuntje waren de iets te harde bedden en de ongevulde kussen.

We took this room which was the 'Presidential Suite' as it was similarly priced with other hotels' standard rooms in the area. It was close to the train station; easy walk although on partially cobblestone walkways. Ensure that you have the code for getting into the hotel if you are arriving late. Room is big and there is elevator access. Amenities- wise- The fridge could not be switched on on the first day and after reporting it, it was fixed but then it started beeping on the second day so we had to unplug it. One compliment will be for the staff (female, sorry- can't remember the name) who made available the microwave oven for our room as we had mistakenly thought that the room came with it. Thank you! BAD!- Delay in refund- I had booked this hotel via trip.com and had already paid trip.com before arriving at the hotel. However, after doing online check-in as requested by the hotel, which required the credit card details, the hotel did a payment deduction also. Up to today, more than a week after the stay and numerous email and Whatsapp messages between the hotel, trip.com and I, the money is still not refunded. I wished it could have been settled before this review so that I can write positively about the stay.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station. Most old towns in Europe have stone roads, which are not suitcase-friendly. The city is small and I only stayed for one night, so I didn't put too much budget in when choosing a hotel. The breakfast was good! Malmö is really small, and I also went to Rondo for a walk.

Despite the late check-in, we were able to respond politely. There was a retro feeling in an old hotel, but it was kept clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Stayed here for my first time back in Sweden after leaving at a young age. Very clean hotel. Perfect breakfast. The location is about 5 minutes from Malmo central station and other famous locations. We walked everywhere. Didn’t use any buses inside Malmo. Visited the tranglen shopping centre, Malmo castle and turning torso. Would definitely stay again when I come.
